I was treated poorly at a department store and I have decided when I am ready to make my purchase, I will go to a different department store. The SA didn’t seem interested in helping me because I was wearing FiLA sneakers and jeans and a Coach bag. I am like you, customer service is everything to me. I have to agree on the bandeaus and strap changes , I also love luggage tags and charms on my bags . I wrap my Palm Springs pm backpack handle , my bum bag handle , my Pochette Métis handle ! Let’s me make my bags my own ! Thanks for sharing 🥰🥰
Omg I regret not getting the pochette metis two yrs ago. I just saw & heard many people complaining about the glazing problem & I passed on it. Now, I am thinking of the reverse mono but the price is a killer. I do want a reverse mono in my collection. I am glad everything is selling well Marquita, keep smiling.
What a great idea for the perfume!! Thank you! We can’t even get Apple Guard in Canada so I ordered it from the US specifically for my Pochette Métis. It was very easy and worked perfectly. It scared me a bit because the vachetta turns colour when you first spray it on, so I closed my eyes and did a short prayer lol… But it worked out perfectly. Good call on keeping the Noe BB, but you should set up some therapy for that poor girl! She’s beautiful!
I always wanted the Metis...but all the complaints and returns for peeling and glazing...just decided on a very similar style Coach Cassie....which I love ..I totally agree about customer service...I mainly buy preloved these days ....too much hassle in store...and no holds!!!

I’m just saying that all of these luxury companies act different with certain people who they think will spend money.

More people are buying luxury than ever before so these bags sell so quick. That’s no excuse to treat people differently when everyone’s money is green. Especially first time buyers. Regarding fragrance, I’m a little confused. If I use one spritz on my neck, it’s there all day. And also on my clothing until I launder that clothing. I never considered carrying perfume in my handbag!

This is what people refuse to believe; you ARE judged and treated based on your title/perceived rung of the societal ladder. It crosses over into EVERY segment where service is involved including medical care and those fields where we assume who you are/how much money you make means nothing; wrong. THANK YOU for for telling your Chanel experience; the snobbery is SO real with high end brands and Chanel is one of the worst.
Everyone should be treated the same. I do agree with that. However, these brands aren’t receiving 10-12 of the same item. The stores at times will only receive 1-2 pieces if that. Not sure of the full conversation, but I work in luxury retail. Pieces that are in high demand can’t be held unless a payment is made. If you can schedule an appointment for the same day, then potentially. BUT if you need to come days later we can’t hold product. I have a great relationship with all of my clients . I tell new and existing clients if you want an item the best thing to do is preorder and if you don’t care for the item return it. Everyone should be treated the same, but holding product is a “No Go”. If you don’t show up or change your mind that’s money lost.

I only asked, which was promised to me, that I could come in to purchase rather than paying an invoice, then they will ship it…I want to see the item since this would be my first ever purchase from Chanel.
