  • In this video I am showing how you can decant the travel set refill bottles of any fragrance from the brand LOUIS VUITTON.
    Usually, you should buy this kind of set after buying the other set with the travel atomizer, which attaches magnetically to the refill bottles.
    But with the help of a syringe, atomiser of your choice and a bit of patience, you can extract the scent without spending an extra 100$ on the atomiser from LV.
    Thanks for watching

      Hello,
      You only an atomiser and a syringe
      Here is the link of the Syringes that I bought in Germany. I don’t think you’ll be able to order the exact same but look for something similar: amzn.eu/d/6X2Nyic
      For the atomiser you can search on Amazon and buy any one of your preference

    Can you get the perfume back to those original LV bottles? I want to use other perfumes with LV travel case. Thank you

    • @tasha6430
      @tasha6430  Год назад

      It might be possible but it will be very messy. I would have avoided trying this if the perfume you want to fill in is expensive. Even if this works the old perfume will affect the smell of whatever perfume you fill in.

    It’s another video there, that you do not need a needle, only take a syringe and push it in and fill it up.

    Does any of it waste when inserting the needle

    • @tasha6430
      @tasha6430  Год назад

      A spray at maximum. You have to apply some pressure to the needle while inserting it so the fragrance can be extracted. This could cause a tiny bit of fragrance to be pushed out of the original flacon.

    This was not easy to achieve. I couldn’t get the needle pushed down into the fragrance container well enough to get the liquid out. I kept feeling like I was going to break the needle inside the container. You also have to be extremely careful to not release all the liquid from the bottle while you are pushing the needle down into the bottle. I ended up taking a paperclip and just pushing down until the liquid was released into a glass container. And then I used the needle to remove the liquid from the glass container. Super messy and not recommended.

      Hi Tiffany, thanks for the comment and your helpful feedback. I am sorry that you had a messy experience. I will go ahead and add captions to the video to better explain what I was doing each step of the way. Entering the needle is indeed not an easy task.

      @@tasha6430 I think you had several things working in your favor that I didn’t have. For instance, your needle seems more sturdy than mine and it punctured the plastic inside of the fragrance bottle well which made it easier for you to dispense. You also used a better syringe, mine seemed to have some resistance or springiness and the liquid kept going back into the bottle it would splash everywhere when I tried to release from the fragrance bottle. It’s a good concept I just need to figure out the right needle and syringe.

    Hello thank you for this. Does the refill still work with the LV atomizer after it’s been punctured?
    Thank you again

    • @tasha6430
      @tasha6430  Год назад +1

      Great question! I pesonally do not own an LV atmoizer. But I know for sure that the needle is not puncturing the refill bottles. I was only able to find a way to access the chamber, where the perfume is. The refill bottles have a magnetic head that attaches to the original atomizer. This will not be damaged by the decanting process. I hope this answers your question.

    Do you think I can use this method to refill the original 100ml bottle?

    • @tasha6430
      @tasha6430  Год назад +1

      I don’t think so. I personally do not own a 100ml LV fragrance but I heard that if you try to remove the sprayer it would be broken. Even at LV they replace the whole sprayer using special equipment when refilling. Speaking of, I would refill at LV because it is significantly cheaper than buying a new fragrance there.

    2023 having the worst time trying this 😢

    • @tiffanymoore6763
      @tiffanymoore6763 Год назад +2

      I swear I bought everything to try this and I can’t get the needle down far enough to pull out the liquid. I’m afraid the needle will break inside the bottle. I ended up just using the needle to push down on the pump which caused the fragrance to pool around the surface. I captured it in a glass container and transferred it into an atomizer. Next time I’ll pay the extra $160 to get a full bottle of fragrance because this was not worth the hassle. What I really need is a video that shows how to release the top/lid and then I can pour the liquid directly into the atomizer.

    Beware. I think by doing this process, you have taken the fragrance from the air pressurized LV Travel containers to the non-air pressurized travel containers. This contaminates and makes the fragrance to go stale. Not a good idea.
