  • We all have been there as parents...your child is in tears and brings you a toy that no longer works. In our case, it was this projector watch that came with a book we bought at the school's book fair. This watch worked a few times and then...nothing.
    Help Desk Mama's Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Test the three batteries in the projector watch with a multi-meter
    a. Batteries had some charge, but I changed them anyway
    Still dead.
    2. Take it apart! My favorite step!
    I loved taking things apart as a little girl. I would watch my dad fix things and learned at a young age how to troubleshoot and find where the point of breakage was.
    Once I found where the problem was on the device, it was an easy fix to solder it back to health. I didn't have to spend any money to replace the item and I get bragging rights for fixing it.

      Same principle I’m guessing. Does it just not light up anymore?
