Lindor grabbed the reins, held a team meeting and the team started digging out of the hole. Playing well enough to earn a Wild Card spot in the final day of the season thanks to Lindor. Then eliminating the Brewers in the 9th thanks to Alonso’s improbable Home Run. Now they’re onto the NLCS thanks to Lindor again. What an epic run. I hope it keeps going. Haven’t been this excited for the Mets since 2015.

I am quite sure that this series made all Mets fans super happy. We eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers and now we eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies. Next it will be either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the San Diego Padres for the National League Pennant. We have not had such a successful playoff wins for quite a long time. To win it at home in front of our fans made it so much more enjoyable and delicious. I am certain that the NLCS is going to be quite interesting series and also very hot. Bravo Mets and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS I hope and wish that the World Series is not that far away for us ......the last time that we won the WS was the very famous 1986 series against the Boston Red Sox. As a Phillies fan. The Phillies deserve this loss. Terrible play coming into the playoffs and expecting themselves to just turn it around like that 🫰? Not how the playoffs work. And unlike braves fans, it’s not the playoff formats fault. The Mets wanted this way more and it showed. Alonzo. Lindor doing what he is paid to do. Cant be mad at the Mets for outperforming us.

We eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers and now we eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies.
Next it will be either the Los Angeles Dodgers or the San Diego Padres for the National League Pennant.
We have not had such a successful playoff wins for quite a long time. To win it at home in front of our fans made it so much more enjoyable and delicious.
I am certain that the NLCS is going to be quite interesting series and also very hot.

There's no doubt this playoff format hurts the first place teams.
You get 7 days off and 2 home games to start as the 1 and 2 seeds, how does it hurt the top seeds?
