Brrrrr. Cold stuff. In Scandinavia, we lift the wipers from the windscreen in the winter so they won't freeze to the glass. For the air dryer, you can get a heating device, which makes life so much easier, when it's icy outside. I've a diesel heater on my coach. After just 30 minutes, the engine is ready to start, but I can choose to let it heat up to two hours before running. Two separate sets of batteries ensures, that my coach has always power to start. But there are decades between your lovely vintage bus and my 2018 long distance coach. 👍 from Denmark. Enjoy life and keep on rolling! 🚌🥰🌈
I just found you, and am very glad I did. My childhood was filled with charter bus runs with my dad here in Oklahoma at a (now defunct) local bus line that he worked at for years. I fell in love with the MC9 buses that he drove; I remember each one down to the patterns on the seats. Your videos took me right back to that time. You brought back so many memories.
Fast idle should have kicked off with brake release. I never did but a lot of guys just rode around with the fast idle on so as soon as the pulled the brake it would kick on.
A good run in December. I'm glad there weren't and hiccups along the way. The only thing i saw that was off was the RH wiper arm needs adjusting so it doesn't keep smacking the center bar in the windshield. Stay warm and dry when you can...the videos look great as always🙂
