We're Eric & Allison and we're on a journey to find the most interesting places and unique foods this planet has to offer! We've traded in our steady paychecks and permanent home for a life of travel and adventure. Come along and see the world with us!
Yay! This is what we have all been waiting for. All of the years of hard work to finally get to this point! On the road in Clementine! And wow, you guys are so remote! Didn't look like anyone was nearby for miles! A true test of self sufficiency! Some of my family grew up in Taos. I hope you guys visit there.
Congrats to be back on the road in Clementine! Mills Rim Canyon looks like a great find, thanks for sharing!
This episode made me so happy for you both! Clementine and Ruby both behaving themselves and both of you having an awesome time ❤️
Love the new bag Allison! Always nice to support local craftspeople
You guys make the BEST videos. I’ve been painting my bathroom cabinets all day and it’s so relaxing watching you guys while I rest my aching back. Thanks for being you.
Best of luck with the painting! Happy to give you a moment of rest 🙌
I love New Mexico. I just took a 4200 mile road trip with my 13 year old son and taught him to drive my truck on a remote New Mexico dirt road.
That mercantile had a set of the primary Pyrex bowls! And a word of advice from a former New Mexican/Arizonan, rattlesnakes aren't the only things that can hurt you in the desert. You might want to invest in some lightweight, loose cargo pants for your hikes. I myself could not get within 10' of a cactus without getting stuck. And you have to try the Hatch green chile while you're there. Life changing.
Such an adorable couple.
10:19 loving this vlog! It’s nice to have a video without Clementine issues!
As far as the roof, get your some AstroTurf and get some chairs that you can just securely strap up on top. Then you don’t have to drag the chairs up each time.
This. I was thinking perhaps a small roof-mounted travel box for the balcony kit.
Finally, all your perseverance has paid off - Clementine is the perfect van for the perfect desert getaway! I don't know when this was filmed but it's snowing here in Colorado; so, envious to see you enjoying the sunshine. Not really, you deserve it & I can live vicariously through you. Enjoy!
Oh my! I'm sure the snow is beautiful, but we are so happy to be in warmer weather now. The month we spent in Colorado was enough winter for us til next year. 😆 Hopefully springs comes soon for you!
Gorgeous views! Ya'all enjoy and have fun. Stay safe out there! Thanks for showing those beautiful views.
Yeey! I'm so happy to see Clementine being used for the purpose you got her - camping at cool spots around the country! Awesome that the roof holds weight so well, it makes an awesome place to enjoy the scenery. 😍
Right?! It took an insanely long time to get here, but it's finally happening. And we have a feeling the roof is going to be our new favorite spot on the RV 😍
That smooth drone shot though???? 🔥🔥Just want to applaud your guys’ ability capture moments. Beautiful
Fantastic drone shot of you relaxing on the roof. It's so good to see you finally enjoying the fruits of all your labour with Ruby & Clementine, and what a majestic landscape.
I'm pretty sure that when no grilling/no campfires is posted, it means open flames. You have a gas grill so you can use that. Also, if you had a portable gas campfire set up, you can use that as well. Love your rooftop deck option and glad Clementine is performing well!
New Mexico is gorgeous. Glad you guys had a good time.
Amazing campsite! Congratulations on your first visit to the desert in Clementine! So awesome!
its great to see you both in Clementine finally having an Endless Adventure cool place to stay free and with awesome views and history to boot happy travels as you progress with Clementine across the states.
Camping in the west it’s a must to have a propane fire pit. Almost never can have a real fire anymore. Enjoy!
Happy to see that all your plans with Clementine are finally coming to fruition, it’s been a ride
Same! 😭🥰
OW! you need to defend yourselves against such aggressive doors!
Ruins are surprisingly interesting...we have ruined castles, stately homes, abbeys etc lying about all over the place!😂
Hey guys! We loved watching you guys get back to camping in Clementine and Ruby in New Mexico. It's so cool that you're able to just drive off into the desert and have such an awesome experience without having to worry about anything. Your planning is on point. The Mercantile stop looked like so much fun! It's great that you got some goodies to decorate Clementine and even found a hat that looked perfect on you. Keep up the awesome adventures, and I can't wait to see more videos!
Thanks you guys!! We're having so much fun finally being on the road with our gals. It's been amazing seeing what Clementine's capable of now that her engine is properly working 🙌
Here's to tons more goofy stops and amazing stays! 😍
Welcome to the South West! It is pure delight traveling with you. I grew up in Southern California and I can tell you that rattlesnakes are hard to see - they blend into the environment. Once my family went on a picnic with friends to a desert park. The friends sat their three year old daughter on a large boulder to get a “great” photo. This was in the days when you left your film off to be developed. When they picked up their photos they found two copies of the photo of their daughter on the rock. The first one was what they were expecting. The second one was marked with a bright red circle around the rattlesnake stretched out next to their daughter about one inch away! The other personal experience I had with a rattlesnake was when our family returned from visiting friends. As we got out of the car in the garage and my father opened the door to let our dog greet us, my eight year old brother casually reached into his back pocket and proudly pulled out a small snake, announcing with joy, “Look what I found! I brought it home to be my pet.” At which moment our dog began to fiercely bark, my father took a closer look and grabbed the snake out of my brother’s hand as it began to rattle and hiss. Then it bit my father’s hand - which immediately began to swell. But he grabbed a hammer and killed it. Yup. My brother sat for nearly two hours in the backseat of our car (between my sister and I) with a rattlesnake sleeping in his warm back pocket!!
😳😳😳 we have no words for any of that, except: how absolutely terrifying!
Yes!! EA is back! What a great video! Can’t wait for MORE, More, More!❤️👏🏻🎉
Y'all look like you're having a lot of fun. I'm happy for you! Enjoy! Peace.
So cool! We took our 35ft airstream class A to Morocco and have been rocking it for almost 3 months now. She’s doing great! Great adventures ahead of you ;)
Based on experience in the military, the jeep in low range (or granny gear) probably has the power to pull the camper, but maybe not the weight or traction to do it.
If you don't carry a shotgun with slugs in it, I would keep a can or two of bear spray. When I was in Alaska I got a walking stick with a couple of bells on it which is supposed to keep bears away. It worked I suppose because all but one we saw were not to close, but we walked up on one in a campground that seemed rather tame, which can be the worst kinds.
We have a propane valve and quick connect on the outside of the camper and have a propane "campfire" for marshmallows, hotdogs etc and a portable gas grill for where charcoal or campfires are not allowed, both work great.
It’s so nice to see ya’lls hard work payoff. Love that y’all are traveling with Clementine 😊
You two are amazing, imagine all the people in the USA and you are completely on your own, happened to me a few times over the years, as I was a Truck driver in Australia(now retired) and it was such a great feeling, like you are the only people on the planet. Love your videos, also follow the Travel Beans and their new baby Noah xx
Glad you get as excited about being alone in nature as much as we do! It's such a cool experience - like the park was kept up just for us 😊 And love that you're following along with the Beans and their little fella! 😍 Hopefully we can get over to see them soon enough.
@@Theendlessadventure Thanks for the reply much appreciated xx
We enjoy your episodes!! We are loyal subscribers and enjoy all your tips and seeing your lives on the road!! Happy travels and hope to meet you guys!!❤
Clementine has certainly left her mark on you two! Something like butterfly kisses or maybe she branded you as keepers. That adventure was historical as well as beautiful for sure. Thanks for the heightened desert views!
You should get that photo turned into coasters for Clem! It’s fantastic!
So excited to see what is in store now that Clementine and Ruby are on the road!!! Don’t forget to scratch the states off your map!!!
Man, talk about production values. Just awesome
Since you guys are into ruins, make sure to check out the ruins of ancient Pueblo peoples cliffside dwellings while you're in the Southwest. Incredible! Really should not be skipped.
I totally agree! They are amazing.
Do you mean at Mesa Verde? That was on our planned summer RV trip, but had to cancel due to family matters. 😁
@@jojoinrancho320 That's definitely the main site! But there are actually ancient Anasazi/Puebloan ruins all over the Four Corners region
Saw the easy one in Tonto National Monument! In Arizona in December, I want to go back to see the upper ruins during the bloom or spring!
Allison: "Holy bananas" :) Never heard that expression before.
It's so nice to see you guys out exploring in Clementine again! 😊
That shop is amazing I would be in there for hours!
So happy for you guys to finally be living your dream 🎉.
So glad to see you getting to enjoy Clementine and Ruby on the road! Those evening drone shots were really nice too.
I am in Henderson, if you end up needing anything when you are here, let me know. Enjoy. It’s beautiful right now.
Awesome thanks for sharing. Great videos. Very inspiring 😊
So good to see your smiling faces and back on the road with Clementine. Can't wait for your Nevada journey!! I wonder who you are meeting up with there? 🤔 could it be who I think it is! Well don't leave us in suspense to long!! ❤ you guys and safe travels!!
We can't wait to get out and do things like this!
So happy for you guys to be back on the road. Great views!
I love that you showed that this could be done on public land where it's free ...
But, was wondering what happened to your states map? Did you already scratch off NM?
We keep meaning to talk about that... We accidentally left it back in Missouri. 🤦♀️ We'll have to get another one soon so we can get back to scratching!
Wow!! Love that place!! I’m jealous!!
So good to see Clementine & Ruby out and about! Looking forward to your visit with Anna & Trevor too! Fun video~Cara 😊
You just go from one thing to another no definite plans.
I'm so happy for both of you. I have been waiting for this moment as well. Thank you for sharing this awesome place with all of us. Can't wait to see what's next 💜
Yay! An all good news video!
It is good to see you both back again giving us another great video in your travel to New Mexico
I would say the two of you are now ready for Burning Man.
Love watching how you wild camp in the U S. we also enjoy what we call free camping ( totally off grid) in Australia. Similar issues, water supply important, solar power with an inverter to convert power to mains to use microwave, air con etc, gas (propane) supply etc.
Keep on enjoying the great outdoors!
So nice to see you travel with Clementine and Ruby 😊 love it 😍
Brilliant video and editing (as always)! Sending love to you both (and Clementine)❤
Thank you!
Such an awesome video! I'm taking a road trip to New Mexico soon and it's nice to see a little bit in this video. Happy trails y'all!
Ahhhh, finally livin the life you guys always dreamed!! Proof that perseverance pays off!! Great vid 💖
Saw Clementine and Ruby at our campground in Zion! Can’t wait to catch your upcoming video! Wishing you safe and happy travels!
Oh no way!! Sorry we didn't get to meet you in person! Honestly, that campsite was probably our favorite to date and Zion might be our new favorite National Park 😍 Hope you're enjoying it as much as we did 🙌
Yes! That was by far the best campground we’ve been at! And Zion was just incredible!
It is great to see you two on the road and having a great time.
Safe Travels Friends & Enjoy!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Enjoy your time FREE 😁... Safe Travels Always God Bless Y'all and God Speed . Mucho Love From Your Friend In Michigan Tam 💜💜
An addendum! Gorgeous vlog.. the ending was quite sublime. xo BTW.. also. Going through and feeling the loss of something doesn't take away from the importance or experience of the fruition of your dreams... feeling the losses as you go, there could be more, only makes the road your on, more poignant. ok? If you don't feel the losses, or pain of life, then you also don't get to feel the joy and rewards of life.. i encourage you to be brave.. more then you've been. I didn't say before that I thought your man was a good one, so I need to say that. I think he's a good one, sister. xo
First I came here to see you travel to different places. Over time that turned into seeing you break things, mainly vehicles. Not just when I got used to you breaking things, as your thing, your transitioning back to travel. Haven't really got over the breaking things angle yet. Could you maybe break something every now and again just so I can see the glimmer of what was and how breaking vehicles made me smile, smile like she used to make me smile. Thanks in advance for breaking something. Have a nice day
Eric & Allison" Good tip about using Street view and satellite images to check out how dirt roads are to drive on. Allison's opening remarks about everything fine with RV got me scared without her knocking on wood. Wonder how she likes Eric with his beard? IMHO it is a good look.
Hi there . i have been watching your journey for the last few years ( first comment ). I am so happy you have had a great trip and so far no problems . 😁🤞. Anyway , all the best from us both in Portugal .
You should take the shot of Clementine in the night sky, make a laser print and you have some artwork for the baby
Love your adventurous spirit and living vicariously through you! Love you guys! ❤
Looks like y'all have become masters of your domain!
I think Clementine and Ruby are in very very good shape. Looks to me like ya'all won't have any issues for a very long time.
Just like old times!!! Except without the mechanical break-downs....may the trip anxiety begin to slowly melt away!
Thank you!! It's definitely been fading as the days go by! Hopefully the days of mechanics and break downs are in the rear-view mirror for good (or a least a good while 😅)
Like the table, good build.
I love everyone of your videos. You keep it real and dont hit the hype button ever!
There's a rest area on I-25 south of Albuquerque with "Watch out for rattlesnakes" signs. But it's still a little early for them to be out and moving about
if maybe you bought a carrier to put in the 2" square tube you could carry extra 5 gal cans to fill up the camper somewhat instead of paying 5.00 a gal. esipcially in new mexico
You might find it easier to see the milky way if you turned off your porch light. It's surprising how little light it takes to disrupt the view of the night sky! It also helps if the moon is new.
Lovely country! Keep going.
In short, possibly the best vlog ever!
Whoa, thank you Daren!!
I am loving your content!!! Can't wait to see Albuquerque!!! Love it there!!!
Great music choice in this videos guys!
If you manage to get to the southern part of New Mexico make sure you do the Catwalk! Love your adventures!
You two are so laid back you're almost horizontal. A great chilled trip even if not chilled temperature wise. Still plenty of time to see a rattler, not too close hopefully. Definitely moving into Western Movie country, sure I've seen that ruin in a film somewhere. Location spotting time? I can almost hear John Wayne, Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood in the background.
Those scars you got make you look tuff lol. Like you've seen a thing or two lol. You two are great. Love you both!
The intro is like some found footage of a couple that goes camping and gets eaten by cactus people
You need to go southern New Mexico. Lots of state parks. Good video.
That’s a great episode and thanks for the great video
Love your adventures...the hubs talked me into Seinfeld a few years back and it rocked, then he talked me into Fraser, equally entertaining...who knew 🙃
Thanks for another great video. Please make more!
There is much more you can see in New Mexico. The gila forest is beautiful. You must experience it.
When we were traveling in our RV this winter, we were terrified about driving down dirt roads 😅 It's just super un-fun to be bouncing around in your RV down a dirt road haha. Glad to see you guys got Clementine out into the wilderness without any trouble!
We were definitely freaking out a bit on the roads leading to the campsite 😅 but Clementine and Ruby did great!! We're honestly way more scared of winter driving, so kudos to y'all for braving the winter in your RV!
@@Theendlessadventure We'd much rather be driving around in the warmer weather like you guys, that's for sure!
That was a great intro shot👍
I was just in that area on two separate occasions while moving across the country. The roads were pretty rough around northern Arizona and New Mexico.
Imagine forgetting to hook Ruby back up and driving several hundred miles before you notice 😂
It might be a bit overkill but have you ever thought about putting a winch on the rv for just in case you get stuck in mud or something somewhere? It might come in handy someday lol
You guys seem so much happier! I'm excited for yall.
Sooo epik beautiful video
I'm so happy for you guys 🎉❤
Cool adventure. Just the way I do it 95% of the time.
I’ve been in New Mexico about a week now, and about another week to go (various places).
Albuquerque is coming up soon for me.
Enjoy!
I love you guys and your RV travels. I would have loved to see you driving down the road in my home state. My husband and I live in Rio Rancho New Mexico, not far from Albuquerque
ahhh finally! The boys are back in town! The boys are back in town! 😆 as I spent a lot of time on BLM land in the SW, I feel your "No Fire" pain. I plan on getting cubic mini stove in my next rig mainly for that, plus I wana go to cold climates! WOW the roof deck in full effect!!!! I think come summer you may reconsider your no turf/decking as the blinding white light might even get hot! SO HAPPY TO SEE CLEMENTINE AGAIN 🧡 as much as I have enjoyed your other vehicles, my heart still hung heavy waitin just a waitin for her to be free as a bird again! YAY LOVE YA'LL!!!
I live in Nevada. It's a little mining town called Mina. You may even pass it on your travels. If you go through Tonopah just make sure that you have plenty of gas before you go to Hawthorne because between Tonopah and Hawthorne there is no gas stations and I wouldn't want y'all to be stuck. So make sure that you fill up your tank cuz it's 100 miles
