As the other guy tried to explain. It's most likely a time frame thing. Many shows air at specific times on the same channel. So to make these time frames work, they take out little part of a show to make it slightly shorter.
It times like this i wish DW Duck was a darker cartoon, I mean i do love it as it is, but it would be even better if made for a older audience, the comics sometines get a little darker in places.

I Actually Remember Seeing This Scene Back in the 90s, Before Toon Disney Went All Child Friendly on Us. You Know I'm Amazed They Didn't Just Remove the Gun Scene All Together, and Just Skipped to the Part Where LP Conks Him. Lol!
If they ever release the series for HD or at least standard definition streaming like they did Goof Troop and Rescue Rangers, I hope they put that scene back in.

I remember the scene being in the original airing back in the 90s. This was actually one of my favourite episodes, and I know for sure I've seen it before but haven't watched the series again since the late 90s when I graduated from high school shortly after it went off the air the first time. Unrelated memories of that include me recording the series premier that I was so very excited for over a VCR+'d time recording of some famous Clint Eastwood movie that left my backside sore for days. It debuted right after my then-favourite cartoon, Tale Spin, as part of the Disney Afternoon block on one of the local independent TV channels. I loved that show back when I was 10. And though I would have denied it publicly as a teen, I still love that show to this day and always have.
I don't think so. We have got an episode taking place in St. Canard where the main villain is Bulba. The episode where Negaduck is revealed. And from what I heard, they have planned something big for Negaduck. But no sign of anything Darkwarrior Duck related

Why was the gas gun scene taken out? Without that scene, it makes little sense between the fire hose and when showing the missile gun.
Probably because they censored it for it making the cocking gun noise.
