I got this Batman because I get every Batman McFarlane releases. I can't get enough Batmans! You are absolutely right though, that as a regular figure this is pretty good, but certainly not worthy of being a Collector's Edition. LOVE the green and silver they used and I think this is the best screaming headsculpt McFarlane has done. Definitely should've come with an extra head though, so he doesn't have to be screaming all the time (or singing, LMAO at the beginning!)
Hahaha the opening was so good. Completely agree with you on screaming heads being an alternative, especially for a Collector Edition figure. I do like parts of this guy especially the paint and colors but the face kinda kills it for me. I actually really like the 3 Jokers Batman, but Hush Batman is my overall favorite. Your summary nailed it. Great review man.
Picked this up this morning, but the lack of alt head, that absurdly ugly neck issue, and the swamp moss green effects are likely sending this back to the store. Another in a long line of, "Dang it, Todd!" moments. So much potential but with almost every fig they find at least one significant way to make it feel like you just got a nice bowl of soup at a restaurant, only to find a nice big hair floating on top.
I ended up liking this figure way more than I thought, I absolutely love when Todd gives us extra hands id take hands over pretty much any other accessories
I want him but that open mouth head sculpt just wrecks it for me I can't stand it just get rid of the dumb card stands and give us 2 heads so we can swap expressions so people like me don't have to pass on an otherwise desirable figure
Another issue with this one; look at the top torso joint from the back. You can see all of the insides, due to another massive gap. At first I thought it was just a quality control issue with my unit, but it is clearly a design issue, that is inherent to the figure. A real letdown. On the flip side, being a reuse of the HUSH buck, the joints work better, very smooth, almost loose, but not quite. I really wanted to love this figure, but the neck and torso gapping really is just objectively BAD!

I like hands too. Alt heads are the bees knees tho
This is a paint job we're paying for - and a cool juan!

So many open mouths😅...first it was the side-eyes and now open mouths. I passed this guy on the shelf.... *ONTO THE REVIEW!*
Great intro lol but man the price point is getting high as a collector it really has made me pick my battles
Has to be that way. Absolutely. I think this is an easy pass, even if it’s an alright figure.
You getting the bat pod with cat woman or Catwoman by herself
I have the batpod on order but I’m wavering. What are you planning to do?
Interesting
I don't like the ' open mouth ' look. ❤😂
It’s not the best if there’s only one head
Either pass or ross.
Yall jus sick minded
That’s true
