Canon G7X Mark III vs G7x Mark II

- I have wanted the #canong7xmarkiii from the beginning of our channel, But the #canong7xmarkii was the more widely talked about of the two. I understand why. The #markⅱ is a great standalone device that is self contained. The #audio tended to be muddled at times, especially in crowed-loud environments. This is what has drew me to the #markiii . It has an #externalmic #input as well as #4k as an option.

@@eri7-11 the vlog mode is a game changer. just ordered a new third party gadget for the mark III! no plans for the mark IV. my wallet said no.
@canonUSA, been experiencing a lot of overheating issues with my #g7xmarkiii with minimal use. Is this a common thing?

Funny you mention that. Just finished editing an impromptu video this evening, and noticed the autofocus started going crazy mid shot.. so they will be a
Snigbit of blurry video that did not show on the screen while recording.
Have you any experience yourself?
I recently purchased mine. At first I could only get blurry video, but after using the VideoBlog mode I was able to get clear video!
Working on a follow up video. Just discovered the same thing!
@@teslatechtravel I see that the power shot V10 has been announced. It is equipped with DiGiCⅩ. This may be the reason why the images are so beautiful. I think the G7X with DiGiCⅩ may be released in the near future.

I currently have a Canon SL2 I find it very difficult to work with, it's big and bulky. I'm interesting the Canon G7x Mark iii and the Sony ZV-1 I feel like I could get both and compare the line up of point and shoot cameras.
I live Sony’s lenses… but I am for sure a canon person. Be if you were to do that, I’d love to hear your opinions on both!

If you get Ulanzi MT-16 compact tripod, it already has a hotshoe for holding the mic built it. You wont need to rig the camera with extra weight from any uurig hotshoe accesories.

What was your favorite one II or III and why? I can’t choose
I love the modular nature of the 3… meaning the mic input… but the overheating has gotten worse and worse. I’m not sure if it’s the venting or what. Didn’t have the overheating issues with the 2. But I don’t have the better quality audio with the 2 either… I would still lean you towards the #g7xmarkiii
