Hey everyone this is my new motor scooter sold by Blaze Scooters, it's a 49CC 4 stroke motor it's so much fun the build quality is fantastic I took it all around my town to see what it could do.

nice, these gas scooters were real popular in the early 2000s. i had both a seated one and a stand up gas scooter. i see only electric scooters around town these days. whats it like passing by all those people on their quiet electric scooters?
I was originally going to get one without a seat but I drive mine pretty far every weekend so I needed a spot to sit my butt down, the scooter is great I've done some mods to speed it up more I get weird looks from electric scooter riders haha.

@@seanmckay3392 See I was really considering it, I wish they had the 2 stroke with the same style as the 4 stroke has. I'm considering upgrading the motor on this to a predator motor though.
@@nwsights6301 predator motor would be a waste of time throw on a cheap amazon RC motor i got one for my goped and you should put a pipe on it too

I have one of these scooters but the older version with NO suspension but everything else is about the same , Motor is 49cc 2 stroke and it works perfectly and is fun but dont have time to ride it now so I posted it on offerup and nextdoor also I figure if it will handle my weight 250lbs it shouldn't have any issue with some much smaller for what it was originally designed for .
I've seen those ones as well this one is definitely a blast to ride and I'm surprised with the power it has for being a 4 stroke! I'm working on editing a video about the new mods I've added to this scooter and an update on the new top speed.
I’m so excited I by chance came across blaze scooters I’m deciding between the electric and Gas power only plus with gas is no down time baby just pour and go the battery 🔋 ones gotta charge for 5-8 hours.
I was stuck between those as well, with the gas one you can go pretty far I can go 28 miles and back with needing to only fill up once, there are also many mods out there for the motor if you're in to modding them. I posted a one year update on mine if you want to go check that video out!

One of these scooters or another type? There's a lot of good scooters out there but this one is possibly one of the best 49cc 4 strokes out there. I'm really hoping to shoot another video of it soon

Have you ever tested 2-3 speed gearbox?
Hi you said you would post a video of the oil change and gear oil change. You don’t have to actually do the change. Can you just point at the screw location for each and perhaps recommend synthetic oils for each to use and amount? That would be more than enough for all us to maintain our scooters.
Yes I apologize have been very busy, I can post a RUclips short about how to change the oil what kind of oil etc. Keep an eye out for that today I will have it up sometime early afternoon.

Hi can you tell me if I were to keep this in my room after use so it doesn’t get stolen since I live in a dense city and have no garage, will gas fumes leak at all or is it pretty sealed and gas fumes will not be an issue indoors?
I can tell you it may not smell like gas but it will smell more like motor oil or exhaust, mine did when I stored it inside. If you have a back patio or garage definitely store it there but inside your home put it in a bigger open area if possible.
@@nwsights6301 if I turn it off after riding and let it sit outside for few minutes and cool down then does it smell as bad inside the house and will it be safe in terms of air quality?
@@PeanutHut Should be fine in terms of air quality I never had any problems, you'll just smell oil and exhaust smell just make sure the gas cap is on tight.

Where did you get the 15 mm carb?
I bought the carb on Ebay. A lot of options on there.

Is this one completely safe to ride in heavy rain?
Should be fine maybe with the stock air filter, probably not the best idea with the cold air intake but I've road it in pouring rain nothing happened to it so far
I run my weed eater in the rain and it is a four stroke Honda with no problems and it is basically the same engine.@@nwsights6301

I've got mine up to 28 miles an hour but that was in windy conditions, I'm sure on a nice calm day it would go 30 or so no problem.
I am about to purchase one of these. But I'm still very skeptical, because I need a scooter that will last. As I can not drive a car. How's your scooter now?

I was skeptical at first too but I'm very glad I bought it!! Very reliable scooter the build quality is excellent its definitely worth $600, the way this scooter is I'd say it's worth more than $600. Considering it's a 4 stroke engine it sounds like a regular moped but my scooter is running great no issues. I ended up upgrading my carburetor to a 15mm instead of the 11mm it comes with so my top speed on it now is 32mph.

@@Darkdream_Jashin Yea you're welcome, the setup on the scooter is minimal I'm going to be making another video about it this weekend with the bigger carburetor, just make sure to keep up on the oil changes and transmission oil!! As soon as you get the scooter top off the transmission oil and motor oil, the paper they give you and email will have all the info you need.

How fast
The scooter when it's stock goes 25 or so, mine goes 29 with the mods I've installed.
@@nwsights6301my e bike was 13 mph originally then I put a 48 volt battery and it goes 18 to 22 mph now
Do you have issues with the local police because these are not street legal.
In the state of Oregon where I live these are street legal, bike path legal, bike lane legal etc just like a bicycle. The police here don't care thankfully.
I live in Los Angeles ,California I do doordash in my scooter exact same model as nwsights. Lapd don't really say anything about it in the city as long as you wearing a helmet and a vest and the lights mines a little louder than nw sights and as long as your not driving belligerent they haven't said anything to me and I've been in situations where they have pass by me!
Have you had any issues with the frame breaking
Not yet, frame is very solid the construction is excellent all thick solid metal welds look good.

I've got it up to 28 miles an hour. Am planning to put a bigger carburetor on it with a better air filter should give it much more power.
@@nwsights6301 hi i have a motorised push scooter as well my scooter is 1hp 33cc 2 stroke n top speed is 25/30 mph i get 10 miles per tank of 1.5 liters of fule i carry 1 gallon fule can n small tool kit with me on all my rides iv had mine from 1978 n it still runs great to this day im in the uk scotland i have motorised bicycle 80cc 2hp 2 stroke n its top speed is 30/40mph 50 miles to tank of fule 2.5 liters keep safe on the roads bro with scooter i would stick to cannal cycle paths n try not to ride on maine roads as cops may give you a hard time ok 😃👍🚴♂️

Dude will you please tell us the things to make this go faster, how fast does it go now I don't understand why you guys just don't do those type of things it's weird to me dude first thing I'll do is back to this is the type of scooter is this the size motor these are the parts you can buy, here's top tier parts you could buy here's a gear ratio for this particular bike it has yada yada yada you can get street tires that use a size you want.. how come literally nobody is that does that you guys make it super hard it's almost demonic

How fast was the delivery? Any issues?
I got it delivered in 5 days the handle bar had a minor scratch towards the top and the tires needed like 10psi of air besides that no issues, scooter works great cruises nice and smooth nothing has failed on it yet.

@@hyrulemasterchef9573 I've put at least 300 miles on mine so far, I drive it a lot every week just gotta make sure to change the oil when it's dirty, top up the transmission gear oil/change it and you'll be solid.
