Hey buddy, thought I would share that we finally got our new motor grader and it’s a 620 GP, with a 14 foot mole board. I can’t tell you how excited I am to get ready to operate it. It’s got to go through it’s in service before I can start using it. It’s taken over 7 1/2 years but worth the wait.
@@graderman140m hey so how was that adjusting to the joysticks? Was that pretty easy to get used to? I’ve operated the 140 M like you have any thoughts on anything?
He also was gonna say that, the old motor grader that I have is a 12 foot mole board and man that sucks when doing work, your Windrow tends to get in the way quite a bit
Man I really like that short post wing mount...really clears that view up. Now you just gotta memorize all the new controls....I see rookie operating in the wind lol 👍👍 just kidding Goodluck thanks
I like the visibility of the short post wing I’m not a fan of the short bench height though and yes definitely got to memorize the controls on this machine and lol I might be looking like a rookie with this machine thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
That’s good to hear that you like your new Deere joystick machine there a very good machine I still prefer my cat M series though over the Deere thanks for watching!
Love the joy stick control but have constant shift issues won't shift up or will shift by itself united AG an turf will do nothing for us won't eaven look at it
I’m glad you like the joystick controls I haven’t caught on to them I prefer the fingertip controls myself and that’s no good with the shifting problem if your dealer won’t help I’d reach out to Deere themselves.
I’ve never had the opportunity to run one yet, the layout seems to be pretty easy to understand. I also agree about the Cat controls that it’s hard on the body. I also would prefer where are the seat goes up and down with the controls considering how many hours or put on the machine you don’t want your body taking all the abuse.
My Deere dealer wanted me to try the Deere joysticks and I figured why not I like the M a lot but cat needs to make the joysticks come with the seat I’m having trouble with my shoulders cause of the controls in the cat are solid mounted.
@@graderman140m I would try a Deere with H type series rack and you have to try the low profile wing and believe me you will not go back to the post ones and you can reach lots, you can leave this type of wing on early and take off later as it is not in the way and when the snow is that high go for a blower or push off with a Dozer 1 ( Canada )
@@briangraham540 I would go with the fingertip controls if I go Deere and I like the idea of no wing post but I will never get to go away from the tall post wing mainly because the grader is all I have for snow removal so have to be able to push back with wing.
I agree with you I prefer the caterpillar machines over the Deere machine Deere makes a good machine but cat is still ahead in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
Little late to the party, but I appreciate the education you’ve provided for this unit sir. Just started my journey with this model motor grader.
I like the low post for the wing, visibility is awesome, and Ivan stack it as hi as the guys with the hi post

@@graderman140m your right there! Get a good snow with some wind and you'll be cussing it.
I love the joy sticks
I’ve had a little seat time with the joystick controls there alright I’m suer I could get used to it but I prefer the finger tip controls myself.
G'day, I'm a local government operator in Australia and I love my new John Deere with the joystick. I'm sorry but I never want a CAT again...

@graderman140m each to there own I guess, I'll maintain the deere will out push a CAT power wise any day! Great videos enjoy them, thanks.

Looks like an awesome machine but for somebody who hasn’t ran one the controls look a little intimidating
There pretty simple just a matter of getting used to how the controls are laid out
Demo?
Never mind
Yep I get to put 30 hours on see how I like it.

Dont trade the CAT for the DEERE. our county did and now they are trying to buy CAT again. Costing a lot of money to do it.

P.s. Try and get the Deere Post-less wing as it sits closer to tandem and you get a better angle on the blade to throw snow as we have 10 Post-less !

If I have a choice caterpillar the way to go hands down
