Build a Woven Rocking Chair! A Super Chill Acapulco Chair

Two years ago I went to Mexico and was super inspired to make an Acapulco chair. In Mexico they come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes they are made with rebar but these are made with rod steel. Honestly you could whip this project together in a weekend if you get all the supplies before hand.
I got the vinyl cording that is the perfect thickness for this design.

I am considering making one of these for my patio. It'll take me a sec to wrap around the 3d structure, but I am looking forward to it. One question, though. How man times do you wrap around before you loop into the center ring? I loved it and suscribed

What size did you use for "most of the chair"? In the video it's listed as 3/4" but it looks smaller than the 5/8" that you used for the rockers when they are side by side at 0:10. I'm thinking it looks like 1/2" but I wanted to check with you to be sure. Thank you.
