  • In this episode, we leave our converted Ford transit campervan at home and take our car to the town of Korumburra Victoria, where were treat ourselves to an AirBnB for a couple of nights.
Korumburra is a Victorian town, located on the South Gippsland Highway, 120 kilometres south-east of Melbourne. Korumburra was once famous for its coal mining boom. We checked out how life in the 1800s was by visiting the local Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, a free family-friendly attraction.
While in town we checked out the main street shops, a local pottery a few minutes from town.
We treated ourselves and pet pooch to a self-contained AirBnB cottage, with garden views, called Cream Cottage. The cottage is a few minutes from Korumburra and a 5-minute drive from Coal Creek Community Park and Museum.

Thank you 😊 please let other people know about this amazing gem. I just think it’s such a great sense of community when a town can come together and offer this experience for free. The best part as you’ve seen this episode the whole town benefits from it. We got a little bit fatter and the town got some of the coin win win lol

My neck of the woods. Korumburra is a bit of a foodie town now, great eats. 😊😋. Also close enough to beaches at Inverloch and Cape Paterson for day trips.

Really enjoy your videos guys...they are very "real" and quite amusing at times...definately food oriented! I notice you have been to torquay, but cant see anything else on the bellarine peninsula, like portarlington, st leonards, queenscliff etc....on the cards?
