Also I don’t get it because I thought bed is lit and there is a different lit in this video

Thank you for your comment. For your question, yes bed means "lit" in French. I assume you are talking about "lit" at 6min30. In this case, it is from the verb "lire" (read), conjugated with the third person singular pronoun (il, elle, on) at the present tense.
Il lit - He reads
Bruno lit un livre - Bruno reads a book.
