Ruling is marry women of your choice in 2s, 3s, or 4s; but if you cannot do justice only marry one.
Justice here is speaking about time not about equally loving all the same. Just as no parent loves all his children the exact same.
You also have to be fair with your resources. But, this doesn't mean you spread your resources exactly equally; because, one of your wives may have more materials needs based on her responsibilities towards the family. Nevertheless, you have to be equal with the nights you spend with each wife. Also, you have to provide accommodations to each wife if they all choose to have separate houses; that's the women's right. However, it is allowed to all live in the same house even though it's not common and harder to manage for most men. Abu American is someone youtube who is open about his 4 wives; in case your curious and he even has a course how to do it properly.
The only thing I disagree with, is have to have a legitimate reason to have multiple wives. It's the right of man to choose to be poly if he is able to do so; but it's not for everyone. The only exception might be if groom and bride sign in their 'nikkah' contract, he will only marry (some scholars say that may or may not be valid if the man chooses otherwise. The reason for this is because, each new marriage is a separate contract from each other. 'nikkah' is a covenant marriage which is not the same thing as a state issued marriage license in case your wondering. Your 'nikkah' is still valid even if the 'state' is not involved).Polygyny was a practiced that existed long before Islam. Examples: prophet David, Moses, Solomon, Abraham and basically everyone else in the old testament. The only difference here is, Islam restricted it it 4 wives assuming you can be just to all of them. In fact, in India there more Hindus practicing polygyny than the muslims.
In India, muslim doing poly:
Muslim 5.7%
Hindus 5.8%
Buddhists 7.9%
Jains 6.7%
Adivasis 15.25%
Having 4 maximum wives is a muslim tradition but there are lots of Palestinian christians, mostly Orthrodox that donnot practice such tradition.
You see how those custom of living is very different from other countries 😮

I worked in Cairo Egypt and had a driver, he had two wives and two jobs to support them his second job was a taxi driver. So we'd start off from my place and I could guarantee he'd fall asleep while stopped at the first red light. Luckily for him I'd did inspection work and so while I was spending an hour or so doing that he could get some ZZZZZZZs time.

What he is trying to explain is, yes the religion allow 4 wives but with one condition ONLY IF YOU ARE HAVING THE CAPACITY TO TREAT THEM EQUAL, FAIR, AND WITH RESPECT. But in this world, who can treat everyone equal? A person himself cannot treat himself same way each day. So, the answer is, people use religion as an excuse for getting married to more than 1. Back in our country there is NOT A SINGLE house of a person who has two wives that are in peace. Islam does not tell you that, so that is against islamic law as you fail to treat them properly and equally. Thus, conclusion is, yes religion allows you, but not a single person on this world has that capacity to do so. There is always going to be unfairness one way or another, so it is better to stick with one.

The 4 wives can definitely live in one house, plus it's not a culture thing, just in Islam and for muslims. Middle East has Christians and other religions, no one marry more than one at the same time.
In Islam, one is required to provide a separate accommodation to each wife if he chooses to marry more than once. This is just one of the conditions that comes with it.

If someone cannot afford to provide four separate houses, then he doesn't have to marry more than once as he's not fulfilling the conditions. People talk about what's allowed for men but no one tells them the various conditions they have to fulfill for it.

They are beaten, they are stoned in public til death and their husbands can marry as many fulfilling his Islamic right, if he chooses to. If I said what he said I'd be sleeping on the couch for sure. Not sure if the punishment fits the crime because for nearly 2-1/2 years in Ohio that's all I did was sleep on the couch, so it wouldn't be anything new to me. Since I've been married I've only slept on the couch ONCE but that was by CHOICE. I let my wife have the bed so she could sleep a little better for that night. She wasn't happy that I did that though.

What does the title of this RUclips video have to do with a traffic violation like after this guy didn't stop at a red light like what this guy did? Interesting how amused this judge appeared to be while he was being only for awhile distracted by this guy who had violated a traffic law. I hope the guy wasn't using creative malevolence while doing so. Like maybe that one guy with a very large truck once who started backing up his big truck after he had entered the intersection leaving me in my car right behind him who was stopped at the red light instead then having to figure out how to avoid a more serious car accident as the back of his huge truck was plowing into the front of my sedan.
That's why I don't like a country that allowed the men had a poligamy.., have 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 wives maybe. Just live being a single.., if I live my whole life in that country..., it makes sense. Awfully sorry.., but it's my opinion.
