Nice Video , I opened up my Stereo to remove a a jammed CD but when i put it back, the USB is not working in Nissan Sentra 2015. All the wires are plugged in properly but no idea why USB is not working. all other functions, Camera, radio, Bluetooth are working fine. Any advise? Thanks
Can you make a video on how to wire the backup camera on Sentra 2015 ? I got mine installed but when i wire the + & - wires my tail light would not work. is there an easy way ? or can i use the relay to avoid this issue ? and how ? There is no Video that show how to avoid it. Thanks
Help! my only problem is the last part! I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra and I installed it just like you did in the video, I put the clips to finish the job but it won't go in as easily Anu thoughts?
Victor Onofre when you put the new dash for the new radio, mine doesn't go in, I bought the right kit and everything, it just doesn't want to go in as easily as when you do it
@@fjr4997 Yeah you need connectors and the antenna for the navigation.. There's a company selling them with the connectors but they want too much money.
Why do you need to drill a ground screw in for the new stereo? Wasen't the factory stereo grounded? Also, for the new stereo you don't need to connect the other 2 wiring harnesses? Just the 1 and the antenna?
the large connector he ignored was for the backup camera (if he had it) and the steering wheel controls. The small connector he ignored is for the USB and AUX connections in the center console. If you want to retain backup camera and/or steering wheel controls, you need other adapter(s) and you will use that large data connector.
I have a 2013 Nissan Sentra with a stock stereo and Pioneer speakers. I am planning on replacing the stock stereo with an after market one but I was told I would need an adapter so the steering wheel functions will work. Is that right? I noticed you didn't install one on that 2015 Nissan Sentra.
If you are going to use a 2Din Radio, well you have to buy what they called "DASH KIT" it is a new trim that will enable you to fit in a aftermarket 2din radio because the Factory trim only works with the factory 2din radio
Deon Brown it is a Pioneer Double-Din the model is an old model so you should go to a stereo shop or Walmart or just find it online and then buy the new Pioneer Double-Din
Victor Onofre is it the one the one at one Walmart they sell in stock for 250$ cause I noticed the one you installed had the gps and the one they sell don't I prefer with then with out and do I have to ask for the harness as well or did you but that separate as well
@@stephaniesherman638 test them all for ground with a pen for that, they sell it at walmart for like 5 dollars, its very very easy , look up videos on that
Bud, you were doing so good until you left that spaghetti radio wires not zip tied or taped up. If you are a shop and i pulled my radio and seen all that i wouldnt take it back. 2 min and that wiring harness could look more appealing
Mauricio, I have a 2016 that I'm looking to replace the Hu also. I replaced the stock speakers first thinking it would help but I guess the radio is just under-powered because it got a little clearer but theres no bass or real volume. If you have already replaced yours how did it turn out? What did you go with and did you keep all your steering controls, back up camera etc... Any tips for me ? Thanks
I'm still searching for that and i'm still trying to change my radio because it bothers me to heard this radio. Not like my old hd radio with a really good equalizer and everything, I miss that radio lol if I found something about the radio and steering controls I'll let you know also the camera works fine on other radios but maybe you need some harmless or something . What about the rear camera? Also, can I purchase a new radio that includes navigation? If so, how
7:22 did that bracket get removed and put back on during a cut? I think the bracket here needs to be rotated 90°

Where did you connect red wire to? the harness does come with red

Donde consigo o compro el marco gris para que le quede bien a la pantalla?
Does anybody know what plastic kit I can use in my 2016 Nissan Sentra SL? Mine has the Piano Black Trim interior.

What about steering control or rear camera, does it work?
It was the harness and headphone style jack he said not to worry about that it’s for the factory radio 🙄
you need to buy a separate “maestro” steering wheel control device for that

Hey do you know if I can install a OEM touch screen Sentra SR radio to my SV one without having problems?
Chris, Did you ever figure this out?
I'm contemplating on doing the same thing too but I keep hearing that it doesn't work because the wiring is different. Has anyone tried it yet.

Do the steering wheel controls still work , the volume at least?
They could but they didn't install the harness for all factory controls to work
And the Steering controls ???
Does Nissan themselves do this for you? Even if I have to pay I will because the wiring it trippy
DFixed what do u mean
DFixed you can get a different version of the car that comes with a screen like that it’ll just be a little more than the regular stereo

Victor Onofre sabes cual es el adaptador que se necesita?
where did you get the dash kit?
How can I get my
Odometer to work again?
Does the factory trim piece not fit anymore? Do you have to install the new radio trim
Valton Billingsley did you ever figure this out? I was wondering the same thing.
jasmine garner
No I didn't. It was decided for me that I didn't need it so I never got the chance to find out

Panel Popper huh, that's a first lol. Pry Tool
The blue cable on the antenna adapter where do you connect that??
I connected it to the blue 'power antenna' cable
couldn’t keep the original dash kit?

I dint ground the black cable to the chasis, and my stereo started smoking, is that the cause?
Most likely poor parenting or a bad role model growing up.

do we really have to connect the ground directly to the metal? what if I just conect the goround wires
you can just connect the ground wires together the samething. unless that ground can go somewhere else
It is recommended to make that new ground. Its really preference but mostly the newer Nissan’s need that new ground
