To those of you who have been asking the links are now in the description, sorry it took so long to update 🙏
What did you do with the little tape covered wires from the start of the video where do they fit in to all this? I am really confused about this whole stereo install....I have a 2005 Altima and I need a stereo with aux and mp3/usb, but I don't wanna have to buy wire connecters and all that jazz... Isn't there just a plug and play version?
This is raw low quality but one of the best tutorials on RUclips GREAT JOB!!
Honestly this was the best type of video i needed, it got straight to the point and everything was clear, thanks alot man
Thanks a lot bro. Did the entire wiring and install within an hour.
thanks man, I planning on doing it to my daughter's 02 Altima....awesome job
Did you stall it?
thank you so much for this. I'll be Doing this on Thursday
Im doing this in a few days. Video was great and too the point. wish me luck!
FANTASTIC ‼️‼️‼️
great vid!
i have the bose radio. is there any diference on the istalation? tanks for the video is was helpful.
Thanks so much! What version of the pioneer did you get? Do you have a link? :) Thanks!
Great vid, been looking for a tutorial to put a radio in my girlfriend 05 Altima!
Devonta Marshall hoped this helped 👍
Any tips? I'm installing a Camacho stereo in my Altima 2005 gonna buy a Nissan Altima harness and frame. Hopefully that works
My radio won’t power on
@@MrJAVONI yeah i just bought an orange 2005 altima with the same radio he just installed and it doesnt power on
I have the same car and I got me an aftermarket stereo and I did the same connections except for the orange one.. I heard you you should not connect the solid orange with the orange with a white strip and you connected them???
Also I connected together the blue ones with the white stripe, should I disconnect them?? And lastly didn’t connect the Black with a white stripe to anything and the blue solid .. please can you help me when I connected my stereo it didn’t even turn on
Una pregunta, quedaste los bocinas original marca bose o lo cambiaste otros bocinas? luego le pusiste nuevo estereo, entonces si jala bien? o no
Wow. You are really gonna leave the mic cable sticking out of the dash like that? It's a miracle you didn't pinch it or cut it putting the dash back together.
Nice video
very helpfull
Thanks man
Do you have a link to all the products you used?
Any issues with the new radio internal amplifier since the factory speakers are 2 ohm and the new radio is rated at 4 ohm?
So you only had 2 plugs to your factory radio? Mine has 3 and it doesn't say anywhere online what to do with leftover plug....
I have an 05 Altima. I have a Bose radio which has four plugs in the back, what can I do?
Question, I have controls on my steering wheel how is that done? Its a different plug in
Does the steering wheel control work?
What about the steering where volume and seek controls
Awesome video Chris. Do you happen to know where I can find a reliable radio wiring diagram? Is the one in this video good for the 2006 Altima, non-bose? Thanks for sharing.
When you buy the new stereo and the adapter for it they will both have a diagram with them, I use them both to match the wires up to each other, for the most part all aftermarket diagrams are the same
@@carswithchris2788 Im not gona wait for the harness adapter so Im just gona splice and couple them. I havent been able to find a reliable source for one that is compatible and dont wanna waste time waiting for it to arrive and returning it if it doesnt work. Im not planning on putting the factory radio back anyway. All I can seem to find is the electrical diagram of radio and not the actual color wiring scheme. 😐
@@LOSTtoLEGENDARYNelsonMartinez I understand, I'm sorry but I can't help you with that, I always recommend using an adapter so as not to mess with the factory wiring
For some reason I couldn’t get my trim panel to go back in, i got it in without the piece that fills in the gap but I couldn’t get it in with that piece
Me neither, mine is a boss
Can this work for 06 altima too
I have a 05 Nissan Altima I was thinking about installing a aftermarket stereo, but my stock Speaker's are 2 ohm impedance, would that effect the sound of my speakers after installing the aftermarket stereo?
You need a different harness for bose
Could I follow this guide for a 2004 nissan altima? I'm looking into buying the MVH-S600BS Aftermarket radio
Yes the installation process should be the same for that model as well
this is weird, i just bought a 2005 altima, and it came with the exact same radio you just installed lol was the car orange by any chance? if so this is my car lol
but that radio isnt working at all, wont even power on
ima have to take it apart it and trouble shoot it
What vol number does this stereo go up to?
I have a Pioneer AVH-210EX that I'm trying to install into my 06 Altima.Do you have any idea what type of electrical or butt connector I should use
InstallBay brand is great. Installed a Pioneer AVH-211EX in my brother’s 06 Altima. The pink butt connectors worked like a charm, especially with the steering wheel controls module and the Bose amp retention from PAC.
What size touchscreen fits this car
put a link in description for where ii can get all this
where did you get your parts
Does steering wheel controls work
Im buying a Camacho double din multimedia mirrorlink stereo I was wondering if I can use any Nissan Altima 2005 install FRAM thingy and harness adapter or if there's a specific ones only.🤔
As long you buy the harness adapter for your model car you should be fine, the harness adapter will work with any aftermarket stereo
@@carswithchris2788 thanks a lot! That was helpful. I'm hoping the double din nissan stereo install dash kit frame is compatible with the stereo too 🤞
hey so im ordering a little bit cheaper stereo, 7 inch double din, are the install harness and kit universal for any brand stereo with the same dimensions?
Yes the installation kits for the stereo and the wiring will be the same for all stereos of this size
Also just an update, 3 years after the video its still as good as the day I installed it
Noticed you pulled off two of the illumination orange wires off the harness. Can you elaborate on that?
It's been a while so I can't exactly remember but i think the harness that came with the radio only used one or two of illumination wires from the harness adapter. The radio will illuminate without those wires hooked up though but you won't be able to dim it
what do you do with the other two radio connectors?
TexasTitan onebis for a powered antenna, the other is for a subwoofer. My car has neither of these
Hey guys does anyone have a leak to purchase this Bluetooth stereo??
I have the same car and stereo did the same wiring connection but my rear speaker wont work any advice.?
Morise Muhammad check the fade settings on the stereo to be sure it’s not set to only the forward speakers
Morise Muhammad did the back speaker eventually work ?
I have a question about that.???
Did you retain steering wheel function for the radio
Thats what I just askrd
So how did mine come out with a 1/4 inch gap on the bottom? Used the same bracket holes.
I'm note sure what would've caused that. Maybe a design flaw in the kit?
@@carswithchris2788 going to try lowering the radio on the bracket
Hey, can someone tell me if I have to have an external mic for any model I choose to put in my altima? I think the mic looks tacky but I do really want blue tooth.
Do you need blue tooth if you have an auxillary cord though?
What about the steering wheel functions please get back to me on that I'm got everything ripped out and I use my steering wheel functions a lot while I drive thank you great video though
The adapter doesn't have a black ground wire none of 3 different brands I got ??
I trying to install a new radio in my Altima 2006, but the factory radio comes with 3 harness and the the adapters I got only have two.
where I gonna connect the third harness ??
OSO POROSO bro... I’m dealing with the same problem... did you ever figure out how to get a 3 wired harness
@@rossgilley9498 NO, I just installed but the wheel controls do not work because the third harness is for wheel controls but is unpluged.
If you find out the the way to conect it please let me know.
@@posokuki buy a steering wheel control module
Do the controls on the steering wheel still work?
Valac. The vehicle this was installed on does not have steering wheel controls so I couldn’t answer that
Did the controls on steering wheel still work
Davin Woodard
So for a 2006 Nissan Altima I need a 2 din radio?
No you can use a single din however this video would not help you with that install, the parts would be different
I bought a wire harness and it has no ground wire for my ground from stereo
Thanks for your comment!! In your case I would suggest grounding the stereo to the chassis. To do this you would need to attach the ground wire from the new stereo and simply attach it to metal bracket or brace inside the dash of your vehicle. I'll leave a link to another video that might be helpful
ruclips.net/video/FnQauK4OaW8/видео.html
Could you send me those parts you used
Can you send a link for the wiring harness adapter or at least the name
I'm working to add links to the description right now
@@carswithchris2788 thank you
Links are now in the description
People asking for the link and the part number is literally on the box
What if the colors don’t match
does the steering wheel control still work
greg Jones I can't say since her car doesn't have steering wheel controls but I think they would still work, I would check with the stereo manufacturer before installing though just to be safe
From what I've seen you need this axxessinterfaces.com/product/ASWC-1?category=AX-RSWC&Year=2006&Make=Nissan&Model=Altima&TrimOption%5B0%5D=Premium+Audio
Is it a 7in stereo
I believe that was a 6 inch
You think it cut fit a 9" I'm look to buy a stereo but I'm not sure if it will fit
I put my radio in. Everything works but their is no sound at all. I have no idea what I did wrong and it seems nobody is having the problem I have. There is no results no matter how hard I search.
It's possible you could have gotten a faulty radio. Also may want to recheck the speaker wires
Not sure if you were able to fix it but you need to connect the blue wire with the white line too. I had the same problem and after connecting the blue/white wire from the stereo harness to the solid blue wire I was able to get sound.
hotty toddy
Gosh almighty
You skipped a step
I don't watch for videos just to see what size screw to use all y'all do is show how to take it off don't tell you what to use a forehead screwdriver or 7 mm or nothing 👎🏿
