Dirtiest Car Ever! BMW Full Interior Removal and Detail BMW 5 Series
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 12 ноя 2020
- This is a BMW 5 series from Kars4kids.org. Unfortunately, it was going to be destroyed (crushed) due to the extreme mold and urine smell from mice infestation. Clearly, the vehicle is not able to be sold in this condition, nor is it safe to perform a restoration detail. However, with a Chlorine Dioxide tablet disinfection, we could then disassemble the interior parts and clean behind all doors, buttons, seats, etc...where more mold and mildew will be hiding. In most cases, the detail cost more than the actual car, but in this instance, the parts are more valuable as individual car parts...then as an entire car! So we detailed the Bio Hazard BMW 5 series just to get the parts clean to be resold individually after its auctioned. At the very end we tally up all the hours of disgusting detailing and polishing so that you can get a rough idea of cost vs value. Hope you enjoy! -L

Larry I remember a couple years ago there were others criticizing you for only detailing high end cars, claiming it was too easy.
I'm glad you're taking on these kind of cars to prove them wrong.
Well-said, Ryan....well-said.
@prcdnvl28 dude nobody cares that you have a "fully loaded luxury car". Get over yourself. Literally, most cars in normal conditions are the same to detail.
@prcdnvl28 just passing by , but you are in fact a dude. It is an all inclusive term
I would think that detailing high end cars would be as challenging, seeing as though if you messed up, even a little, that is big bucks to fix it.
Well it is still a high end car, only that is superneglected
I understand we should not be judgemental about the owner who would allow this to happen to a car. I'm being very judgemental right now.
i cant understand eighter
Just imagining to own a car and let it come to this state makes me wanna unalive myself. I wouldn't know how to anyway
@Ching Chong you saw, that they took the whole car apart and cleaned it?
It could be as simple as someone passing away. While the estate is being settled, the car is taken over by vermin.
That’s disgusting.
Even the mice abandoned this car...
You've certainly given me a new perspective since I subscribed.
@@ms.pirate Lol
We found out where Covid started.
Honest to god, I am starting to believe that car is where Covid evolved into what it is now.
@@user-eh7nz1wr1m evolved into a virus with over 99% survival rate? Lmfao
@@givemefreespeechyoutubehitlers my comment was a clear dramatization of how horribly that car was maintained. It's your decision to see it in a negative light.
Nailed it
@@givemefreespeechyoutubehitlers that’s still a lot of people who have died lol
it is very hard to see how someone could let their car get this way
I used to work as an apprentice at a GM dealership and we would see this once in awhile. We would straight up refuse to work on the customers car
I think the car was abandoned
Cus u could die if you drove that
just let it sit in a garage with accidentally opened doors for a while, once cats come to piss inside you are done with it
@@reggiegully1363 I don't think it was abandoned because it got this bad, I think it is the other way around. I don't know why you would abandon a fairly new high end car in the first place unless the owner died.
Hoovie: "I have just bought the cheapest 5 Series BMW in the USA"
he already did that with the M5 😂

This is hilarious!

I would love to see Larry detailing an old neglected motorcycle or a barn find motorcycle!
working on this! trying to find one to work on
I've got a 1984 moto guzzi lemans III that is in good shape but could use a detailing once I get it running again;)
Beige Seats looks better with a black Carpet and black isn’t so sensitive.
Agreed, a Ammo NYC motorcycle detail would be great! A sportbike detail is also on my wishlist, focusing on paint restoration of plastic fairings, metal parts, etc.
bmw bike is would be sick
Thanks for sharing this information with us. You are a great source of knowledge and the fact that you are willing to share it for free speaks volumes about your character.
You probably don't remember but I sent you an email a couple of years ago about whether or not to repaint my car. You asked me to call. I did and to my astonishment you answered the phone yourself. We spoke for about 15 minutes and you gave me some very good information. I ended up selling the car. But I have retold the story about you helping me many times, each time expressing my gratitude. Thanks again ‼️
Keep up the good work 👍✌️
Happy to help. Thanks for the kind words and for supporting AMMO!
Man i started sneezing as soon as I saw it. Can't possibly imagine the smell...
I was a professional cleaner for 9 years. I’ve seen it all. This was hard to look at at some points.
Lucky you, I can imagine the smell, sadly.
Wow amazing! U are such an inspiration, after we met at Detailers Domain in 2016, i quit my job a year later, moved to Switzerland and started a Detailing business here in Zürich..
Greetings from Switzerland!
Alex
That is awesome!
Good luck with your business Alex!!🔥
Riwax?
That's Awesome 😎
@@jaaphoogendijk671 thank you! Wish you all the best also!
I like how he gives tips as if anyone else in the world would do this
"a chlorine dioxide efficiency system"... lol.
You mean a 6.99 fish tank bubbler?
It's got a sticker from a detailing company on it. That'll be $69.99 thanks.
Is that just bubbling air into the mixture? Lol
That car was so dirty I feel like I need to shower just for watching this video....
I was a professional cleaner for 9 years. I’ve seen it all. This was hard to look at at some points.
When you watch this and think " oh man, that looks like fun!"
That's when you know you have the heart of a detailer. That project looked incredibly satisfying, especially knowing it's for charity. Thanks Larry! Awesome! 👍👌✌
You guys rock. This was a really informative video. As a car guy, the car deserved a better life.
“If you haven’t been introduced to your neighbors yet this is a really good way to break the ice” hahaha
God that bit was so good lmao
Um i would respectfully disagree.
The Jesus Christ of auto detailing. Saving the condemned one auto at a time. Good job Larry!
Now, this is one seriously profound comment! >X-D

I guess some poor folks buy these expensive foreign lawn ornaments, not knowing how expensive maintenance and repairs are after the warranty expires. These things break down, and the owner can’t afford to fix the damn thing, because the car parts are so damn expensive; so the car is basically left to Mother Nature to take over.
BIG RESPECT to BMW for such quality materials used in their cars
I remember when these were new. They were such nice cars. Hard to imagine a 2020 5 series looking like this in 15 years... but there probably will be some!
I was thinking the same thing. I still see extremely clean E60’s getting around but there’s always gonna be some that are neglected for sure
Just imagining to own a car and let it come to this state makes me wanna unalive myself. I wouldn't know how to anyway
Id straight up commit self forever sleep if my car ever got to that state
lol
I would commit self sleepy sleepy right now just because😳
And it’s a BMW so you would expect someone would take care of it like the luxury car that it is.
@@tumeh7410 me too, dude. Me too.
Larry... if you were doing this for a customer car would you have a concern for the vents, headliner and foam inside the seats still containing some mold?
This!! I’m wondering about this too.
Yes it would be a concern
@@AMMO-NYC Would the gas have killed whatever was in the vents or would you need to actually take the HVAC system out or replace it? Also what would be the process for cleaning the headliner? You could just replace the seats because they probably do still have mole inside and could get them cheap.
Would probably want to run hvac on recycle while it's gassing like when they do the ozone treatments.
Just set it on fire.
Your videos are really great. Whilst I am not a professional detailer, I employ as many of your techniques as I can when cleaning my own car(s) and I always get comments about how great they look.
I love your neighbor steve, he seems like really awesome guy
As a detailer myself, I wanted to get in on this action and help out
This probably isn't the best video to watch, and right now I'm eating ramen😂
good advice as I was about to do exactly the same
lol
Would figure, I'm doing the same
broke college student gang
You truly created and continue to create the absolutely best detailing channel. You’re awesome, I have learned a ton over the years watching your channel. The products are the best also.
$40 seems like a pretty great rate for labor. I'd expect a lot more for the biohazard!
These are my favourites! The very dirty ones getting cleaned is that I watch, and its actually satisfying for me.
I can imagine the ad for this. One owner. A Loved car that needs a new home!
I really wish I could work with y’all I love detailing the cars. Watching y’all do this helps me learn so much
Love this new studio! Happy for you!
I feel like I need to shower after watching this.
The car wud still be bio hazard, aircon dashboard etc were never removed
Yah how does this work legally? The car was totaled as a biohazard, and those hazards still exist. The unsuspecting buyer of, say, the back seat would get a massive chunk of foam and upholstery full of nasty.
Yup, inside the seats and dashboard were my thoughts too. Even if it’s being sold for parts
Yea its dubious, things like the seats should have been permanently defaced to ensure no reuse no resale.
But I think the tablet system that they used killed off all the mold.
@@volvacations2186 Do you really think the tablets got all of it? Doubtful.
My new favourite channel - you guys are AMAZING!!!
I don't even vacuum out my car and here i am subscribed to the best car detailer in the world for some reason. Love this stuff. but definitely can't be bothered to do it myself.
To have a neighbor like that has to be a godsend from time to time! Amazing work!
I can't believe someone would treat a car like that, thats truly disgusting.
It's just a car.
@@basshead. to some people is different
True, but at least it's just a BMW. One less obnoxious one on the road
@@basshead. a lounge is just a lounge but would you treat it like that? Is like to see these peoples homes (in a Hazmat suit)

Now this is what I call a full detail 😍
It's so relaxing and satisfying to watch these kind of videos. Thank you
Always learning something new from you Larry !
Tom from Simoniz! He's literally the OG, he trained Nico who trained me when I went to the Hartford Garage. What a team up!!!!!!
When Larry says "by FAR the worst car I've ever done in my career", you know it's going to be disgusting...
Edit: can strongly suggest Kwazar spray bottles, they'll save your hands/
I have seen FAR WORSE ...
Definitely impressed with the attention to detail/professionalism!
Amazing video! I loved every second of it!
Step 1: Set on fire.
Great videos.. very satisfying to watch!
Just curios, did you try and start the engine? I would love to see a follow up on the auction and how much it sold for.
With that much mouse activity, it's about a 99% chance enough wiring was chewed through to make the car not start. But I'll admit, out of morbid curiosity, I would've liked to have seen that too.
You guys all did great work! Very interesting to see a DA polisher used for the headliner and I think I will give that a shot one day. Super awesome video and it made my night.
Hey @AMMO NYC, STILL love your work brother. You probably don't remember me since it's been a LONG time since we talked, but this is Adam from O.C.Detailing. I was based in Lynchburg, VA and now live down in Land O' Lakes, FL and haven't worked on any cars in quite a while, but I'm still watching man. LOVE IT!
When you opened that door I covered my mouth with my shirt. 😄
I was eating lunch while watching this video and I pride myself for having a pretty strong stomach in regards to things like this but I can't lie, I needed to look away in some parts *gag*
Just found my new favorite RUclips channel!
Super satisfying vid to watch😊
Thanks Larry and crew!..
Thanks for watching
What a clean crazy clean. Nice job!
Although I still dont think I'd trust the seat cushions. Is just the outer wash enough on leather seats?
I know right. With the condition the car was in, I would’ve opted to just send the car to the scrap yard. Not even worth saving when every possible part of the car is mold covered and deteriorated.
Steve legit went "your car so smelly that i came here to HELP clean it up!"
Steve's the man!
Greetings from Spain, I learn a lot with your videos, you are very good
My goodness Larry (and crew). You'll do anything for a great learning experience. Nice job explaining the process. I enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and supporting AMMO
Hey Larry I was wondering if you are going to have a BlackFriday sale on your website? Keep up the awesome videos and stay safe out there!
Greeting from Germany
$40 an hour sounds pretty damn good to me
If you’re concerned about to panel/trim clips breaking during future details, you can order kits off Amazon with different assortments of sizes for $15-$20. Kits typically are made for one specific manufacturer. You could keep one for each of the common manufacturers on hand in the shop.
I really love all the details shared. This BMW car condition really beyond repair.
When you see on RUclips a "Complete disaster full interior detailing", well... this is another level.
The ecological value is worth it as well. Reduce, Re-use, Recycle. Good job!
this is a big and amazing transformation of the car 🙂👍🏼 you just given the car a new life 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Larry, as a car care professional for decades, I'm sure you're aware of what the acronym "BMW" stands for.

Ur so good ur making people happy by cleaning their car
Where the hell did this BMW come from? Chernobyl?
Proably.
Its from Brasil
America. It was parked inside Trump Tower when America first became the nation‘s new religion. No Nazi German cars allowed (Trump hates Germany and Germans with a vengeance), so a real ‚Merican built Jeep or Chevy was the vehicle of choice. Now that Trump is gone, the car was allowed back on the streets again, and it does resemble the Trump presidency in some way.
@@tomsommer8372 why do we need to include trump and politics in everything ffs
Parked right next to reactor number 4
Awesome job Larry and team
Using a small polisher to clean headliners... what a great detailing tip! Kudos to Larry, Jason Rose and the other crew in turning this" sows ear into a imitation silk purse" to allow it to be sold at auction.
Damn I would love to get my Car detailed from larry... but to get my old ass Skoda from Germany to the USA for a detail would be a bit overkill I assume. xD
This must’ve been the “bogey” mans Beamer!?
😆
always good to see im not the only one with this kind of cars ;) nice video
Pro work, we salute you guys
I use ozone machine to remove odors and mold you should look into one!
The CIO2 seemed to work really fast. Thats really handy for a business owner. An ozone generator would have taken 2-3 hours minimum
@@Isaac-od4rm yea your right but you have to get those special tablets. Ozone just uses power and it’s maintenance free
He's used them before
Ozone has no effect on bacteria, mold or VOC... It's effect on odours are also questionable, as it mainly "masks" the smells so you smell ozone in stead. Also: Ozone is toxic... The generators are also not maintenance free as often being claimed.
@@havardhovdet9217 ozone does kill mold and virus I know ozone is toxic but letting the car air out for hours should have normal oxygen levels
Imagine your car being salvage titled because of how dirty it is... Just imagine😂
I can easily relate to this. I work at a scrapyard, and only deal with the automotive recycling side of it. You have to go in the cars sometimes to pull stuff out that can't be shredded or crushed for safety and environmental reasons. It gets really disgusting sometimes. Even this bad. Which is why you refuse to go in those kind of cars.
Hats off to you guys. This is real love here
I start to worry when I leave a McDonalds coke cup in the car for more than 1 hour. I cannot understand how someone can let their car get THIS bad. This is sensory overload anxiety hell.
some random OCD guy: burn it
Well done, unbeliesveable work
Absolutely fantastic...well done!!!👏👏👏👏
"Be gentle here!"
*smack*
I don't understand how car economics work out there. Was it cheaper to scrap a perfectly functional vehicle that to restore or refit the interior?
That car is not restored. Sure, it’s cleaned, but the areas they didn’t touch are likely just as disgusting as everywhere else, so this would need a complete disassembly. Not to mention all the wires that could’ve been chewed and all the decay of sitting for a long time, so I get why this was totalled
Thanks for the content Larry youre the man
Very informative! Great job gentlemen👌
