One of the most unrated guitar player of history; he is a great not only as shredder but also as composer and his touch is pure feeling! Too true to be real! Fuck people!
True story I used to record the Friday Rock Show on U.K radio and one Friday in July 1987 there was this amazingly beautiful classical rock guitar track on the setlist, I didn't catch the name. I only found out decades later when I uploaded the tape track to you tube that it was ' Kings Cup' by Tony Macalpine. I literally spent decades wondering who it was, now I know !
I really love the tone Tony MacAlpine got out of the BC Rich guitars he used back in the 80s and 90s. Not to take anything away from Ibanez which he has preferred since then but BC Rich is what is used on his first few albums that set a Neoclassical benchmark by Guitar playing standards. Wasn't really baroque but romanticism. Melodies that are sublime.

Какая красивая композиция!
Тони молодец, что не пьёт алкоголь. Уважение и почёт.
