See the below link for project write-up of the diff lock.

If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it!!!
Absolutely amazing, well done!!!
This is pretty legit.
Great stuff!
Omg. I did a climb last weekend. Felt awesome but looked sooo tame on camera. So this looked insane on camera, so can only imagine what it must have been like in person!
Yes this looks tame on video by comparison...
My wife got a 97 Subaru outback today with 100,000 miles. She don't know how lucky she is. Lol. Actually she does
What! You really pushing the car to it's limits even though it's custom made for that.. So impressive nevertheless
Good piece of driving! Can't believe the engine didn't stall there. That low range really makes a difference!
Yes low range is so good. If I had an extra 20% low the car would be unstoppable
Fuji heavy industries got this system right first time !!
Very impressive... thanks for sharing!
Better driver better climb.
Mate that's pretty unbelievable. I honestly thought you had no chance. Amazing drive
That was amazing!! Couldn't believe it.
Insane ! You didn't even go hard with the car !
That's the goal with this build. Go the minimum speed required to get through and not break stuff...
Wow....show that video to TFL Channel !!!
Awesome 👍
nice work man
Great job my friend!!!!!!
Good job!!!
Subaru, the seven sisters of pleadias
offt !!!! what a great drive !!
I just came for the carnage!
Sorry to disappoint...
Fucking mint hahahaha
Hardcore track
First Subaru up that trail !
Certainly in regent years. Probably the first car in a long while as well...
Sweet. No wonder the cruiser boys hate subarus.
😂 yeah...
The title itself tends to be temporarily misleading for those of us who are not in Australia. You see, here in the States we have one State called Washington and it is abbreviated as WA so, it is easy to think that this event takes place in the US. When the driver shows up on the right side of the car however, that is when a bit more digging is needed to realize that this is actually in Western Australia. Cars with steering wheel on the right are extremely rare in North America.
where is this please, I want to try it wit my SH Foz?
Red Hill, WA. Off the northern side of Toodyay rd. I wouldn't consider it with your SH unless you like panel damage. Chance of success is low even if heavily modified.
@@SubaruOffRoad What do you mean terms of heavily modified? approach and exit angle heightend, lift kit, bigger agressive wheels and underbody protection?
@@destnations5588 I think you would struggle with the SH driveline. Maybe a turbo auto with traction control might do it but I don't think the TC would respond quick enough. I also think the rear suspension wouldn't have the clearance and would get damaged on rocks. If you have a good lift the approach and departure would be OK but you would likely still scrape the middle a bit.
@@SubaruOffRoad ruclips.net/video/cuNPknRS2pE/видео.html
that was my effort today, not as gnarly as yours, but needs a lot of clearance all the same
Wow!
wow
Amazing
Hey fella, I'd stick with those tyres as they work. What you running on???
These are Kuhmo AT51s, 215/75r15s. Now running BFG KO2s in the same size.
@@SubaruOffRoad I have a forester 2006, the stock size is 215/60r16, do you have any wheels to recommend to use legally (max of an extra inch or 25mm)? Thanks so much
@@SubaruOffRoad QLD law states wheel can only be increased by and inch and another 2 inch using lift kit.
Good✊👍
well done. is the diff locked?
The rear diff is an ARB air locker.
@@SubaruOffRoad thanks mate. have a good one!!
I finally found this, but it’s a lot different now 😂
Really?? 6 months ago it was exactly the same. Have any pics or videos of it now?
@@SubaruOffRoad yeah , I got video of it from two different angles, unless your mate who’s was filming is 10 ft tall, there is no way you can just easily walk up the middle of it, I had to climb it.
@@Adrenalfix Sounds like its changed a bit then. Would be interested in giving the videos a look if you want to upload them somewhere. Not sure when Ill next be able to get out there and look in person...
@@SubaruOffRoad I’m in the process of editing a video with it in atm. Would be great at some stage to meet up for a few hours for me to learn first have from you haha.
@@Adrenalfix Excellent. I'll be keen to give it a watch when its uploaded. I'll let you know next time I am heading out if you want to tag along. Might not be for a while though.
