That's why you're so relatable to all of us who are in similar situations. Also, your style of video attracts a certain kind of audience that may be smaller than the masses and that's okay. Hey, Vu. Been watching you for some time. Screw how many subscribers you have, I like you. I like your direct way of talking. I always like how you end by saying "lighten up" because that's great advice. Also, years ago when I met my wife, she was in church and I wasn't. And even though I wanted to be with her I wasn't about to fake it in church to make her happy. But I was home reading a book about Jesus, trying to get a line on the whole Christian thing. About two chapters in I started crying. It was the weirdest thing. It just came out of the blue. I will never forget it. So when I heard you talk about your experience it brought back a fond memory. And that was in 1978. Please keep making videos.
That was one of the worst audio videos I've ever watched. Yet here I am 50 minutes in, fully engaged even as I watch a grown man take his trash to the dump while I eat my sandwich in my car. I understand the struggles man. I don't have a RUclips channel but I'm a professional photographer with mild ADHD. I also still have a day job which brings the money in and then whatever I make out of photography on top is a bonus. It's allowed me to develop my photography career at a slower pace I think the problem. Many people face is going into photography full-time doing a RUclips channel prints jobs sales weddings all that kind of stuff. It gets really hard. You're chasing tail a lot my recommendation for a lot of people who are wanting to get into photography is keep your day job. Keep your bread-and-butter coming in each fortnight so the financial pressure isn't great. If you are under financial pressure every week it starts to affect your happiness your mood and your bank balance will become lower and lower in terms of coping with ADHD. I use an embracement process where I embrace the energy side of it, but I have days when I struggle. I totally understand.

I've been told a few times that I should tone down my jokes because it might hurt some people. Nope, I'm not a drone. I do what I want lol. The only RUclips failure is not starting. Regardless of where the numbers are, you definitely provided value and kept it a buck. Been here since the Sigma 24-70 DG DN 🥜 and Zhiyun crane days. I probably look forward to these videos more than other creators.
YT is hard to crack. I only have 70 subs but we are a community and that’s all that matters to me. I don’t need 70k subs the 70 is more than I imagined as my expectations were low so not to stress about it

Man, I have often pondered the idea of quitting YT. I get some many racist comments it is legit crazy. With going into the 2A content space, it is already hard enough with that on YT. That just adds to the frustration even more. I have 3 people out of the 1.6k who come back and watch every video. So, with that being said, that is the only reason why I keep doing it. I know another RUclipsr who had great content but could only grow his channel up to 20k subs. RUclips’s Algorithm is very particular. It feels like if there is a mix between lifestyle content (weddings), tech reviews, and any other variations they may not push/recommend your content.
probably been said before, but one reason you probably haven't grown faster is because you're not like the rest of the flock. if you want to become popular you have to cater to the flock. to appreciate this channel, you arguably have to be a bit more intelligent, more independent and more critically thinking. this rules out the vast majority of all viewers.

I think I understand. You can find the book in Audio form, actually read by the Author. Available on MP3 and/or MP4. I listen to it when I have time and feel the need too. With an Audio-book I can play it in the background while I am thinking or doing something else. I can repeat pages or listen to individual chapters.

I think if you cared about increasing subs at a faster rate, you have to do something that's just not who you are, which is to be the fake nice guy. Other subscribers and I get your humor because you talk a lot of shit, but not everybody can handle that. If you remove that, you won't even be you. So no, you didn't fail. Just continue to be who you are because you get to be genuine. That fake route will probably eat your soul (even if you have like a million subs).

Tbh, camera conspiracy already has the dead pan, satirical thing on lock. It’s hard to produce entertainment in this field without selling out. It’s ultimately entertainment, you have to constantly be reaching for new ideas and new viewers. Your format has become very predictable. Look, what do I know, I just watched my 2 kids open a bunch of gifts and my wife saying thank you for being an amazing husband and father. The secret, I went to college, got a masters in business, ran a business for 12 years in Los Angeles, got married, moved to Florida to buy home and save on taxes had 2 kids, work for a few clients make 300,000 a year and have 26M in the bank earning interest. I should sell a course, but all that is just tacky. I’m good. I don’t spend any time away from my 3 girls outside of 8-5pm job. You have to discipline yourself, simple.
Hey thanks for the insight. However, I don't agree with your comparison of me and Casey. Yes we are both comedic but very different in our approach. The way I know we are different is because although I understand his jokes and why they are funny, it is not necessarily funny to me. He also smiles in his videos. Also, if you watched this whole video (likely didn't because it's boring / long) I don't think I failed as a RUclipsr. I failed on goals I set for myself in terms of growth, but over all I have been successful. My views aren't crazy high, neither is my subs, but the quality of subscribers and the amount of comments I get every video is the strength of my community. Merry Christmas
Also sure my content is predictable to people who subscribe. Like my let me show you series. But that is also why people like it. But there are 9 billion people on this planet. Millions in the US. And most of my videos don't break 5k - 10k views. There are plenty of people who has never seen my videos before so to them, no, it's not predictable.
Another thing, I'm happy for you with your accomplishments. You have done well for yourself. With all that money in the bank, you can probably quit. Create that course and share that knowledge to people that need it. Not for the money necessarily, but to serve others. I too am enjoying Christmas. Hosted a party on Saturday with my wife's entire side of extended family at my house. Currently taking a shit while prepping another party today for my extended side of the family at my house. Very relatable. I think that YT rewards those that act a certain way. Heck not even YT just the world in general. That's why those transformers movies do so well. It appeals to 99% of the general public. It's formulaic and safe. Alternate forms of thoughts and opinions historically have always been frowned upon and I think that's why your channel is under performing in your eyes. I've been told a few times that I should tone down my jokes because it might hurt some people. Nope, I'm not a drone. I do what I want lol. To be successful you have to sell out a bit and that's why I love your channel. You don't sell out, but I'm just saying!!! If you desire to cast a bigger net you might have to :P

Man, I have often pondered the idea of quitting YT. I get some many racist comments it is legit crazy. With going into the 2A content space, it is already hard enough with that on YT. That just adds to the frustration even more. I have 3 people out of the 1.6k who come back and watch every video. So, with that being said, that is the only reason why I keep doing it. For those 3 people who really enjoy the content.

I know another RUclipsr who had great content but could only grow his channel up to 20k subs. RUclips’s Algorithm is very particular. It feels like if there is a mix between lifestyle content (weddings), tech reviews, and any other variations they may not push/recommend your content.

probably been said before, but one reason you probably haven't grown faster is because you're not like the rest of the flock. if you want to become popular you have to cater to the flock. to appreciate this channel, you arguably have to be a bit more intelligent, more independent and more critically thinking. this rules out the vast majority of all viewers.

I think I understand. You can find the book in Audio form, actually read by the Author. Available on MP3 and/or MP4. I listen to it when I have time and feel the need too. With an Audio-book I can play it in the background while I am thinking or doing something else. I can repeat pages or listen to individual chapters.

I think if you cared about increasing subs at a faster rate, you have to do something that's just not who you are, which is to be the fake nice guy. Other subscribers and I get your humor because you talk a lot of shit, but not everybody can handle that. If you remove that, you won't even be you. So no, you didn't fail. Just continue to be who you are because you get to be genuine. That fake route will probably eat your soul (even if you have like a million subs).

Tbh, camera conspiracy already has the dead pan, satirical thing on lock. It’s hard to produce entertainment in this field without selling out. It’s ultimately entertainment, you have to constantly be reaching for new ideas and new viewers. Your format has become very predictable. Look, what do I know, I just watched my 2 kids open a bunch of gifts and my wife saying thank you for being an amazing husband and father. The secret, I went to college, got a masters in business, ran a business for 12 years in Los Angeles, got married, moved to Florida to buy home and save on taxes had 2 kids, work for a few clients make 300,000 a year and have 26M in the bank earning interest. I should sell a course, but all that is just tacky. I’m good. I don’t spend any time away from my 3 girls outside of 8-5pm job. You have to discipline yourself, simple.

However, I don't agree with your comparison of me and Casey. Yes we are both comedic but very different in our approach.
The way I know we are different is because although I understand his jokes and why they are funny, it is not necessarily funny to me. He also smiles in his videos.
Also, if you watched this whole video (likely didn't because it's boring / long) I don't think I failed as a RUclipsr. I failed on goals I set for myself in terms of growth, but over all I have been successful.
My views aren't crazy high, neither is my subs, but the quality of subscribers and the amount of comments I get every video is the strength of my community.
