Ale is introverted, not shy. She doesn't want to be the frontwoman of the band. Her personality comes out in interviews, especially the more recent ones. Her job on stage is to handle the music, keeping Pau and Dany in time, moving the song forward. In the creative process, she's the editor; she'll tell the others if something isn't working or doesn't fit. As you get deeper into their catalog, you'll see that each of them bring just what's needed to the song; no one is showboating, and for much of each song, each of them is under-playing.
Check out Disciple and Z for examples of strong basslines, and Choke and Hell You Call A Dream for outstanding vocals from Dany. The Teatro Metropolitan CDMX version of Narcisista shows what Pau can do as a frontwoman.

Ale is really the one holding it all together, probably the most crucial piece of the puzzle.
But because she's not nearly as flashy as the other two, and because she rarely sings lead, people kind of discount her or don't think about her as much.
All 3 know their rolls in the band and fill them perfectly, but I personally think Ale is THE key piece.

Everyone falls in love with Pau, the beating heart of The Warning. She can sing like Dany while beating her drums like a beast or break your heart on the piano. Dany’s vocal limits are currently unknown as she keeps raising the bar. Check out the music video of Choke. My son had AI do a cover of Choke. AI ‘choked’ unable to replicate Dany’s vocal range! Both Pau and Dany recognized by their peers that veteran bands they opened for invited them to sing lead! Dany recognized for her guitar skills, invited to play guitar. She shredded with Halestorm recently. Ale is the quiet one, but KNOWS she has the crowd in the palm of her hands. Able to elicit roars of approval with the flick of her hair, a shrug of her shoulders, the ‘Elvis Presley’ sneer. She rarely sings lead, but on her solo parts, entire arenas go quiet and audible gasps and sighs can be heard from the fans. Reactors often go, “Ale? Ale! ALE!!!!!” Fans have made a point to stand in front of her and have their internal organs vibrate with her thunder! LOL. None of the sister take a back seat.

All three can sing, and you will find out. They all have their distinct personalities, and each brings her irreplaceable bit to the team.
There are songs where the MV makes a lot of sense, like “Que mas quieres”, which Paulina co-directed, and where all three of them display impressive acting skills- stage presence does come from knowing how to act! Then there is “Burnout”, which is hilarious and gives some context for the song. And there’s also “Six feet deep”, very nicely done in a horror movie style and giving flashbacks to their history as a band, which is very important to the Warning fans - it is a band that you can see literally growing up from their childhood on the internet if you care (and we do). Their most watched video is still a cover of Enter Sandman from 2014, when they were 14, 12 and 9 years old.
But generally, the live version have an extra oomph to them, and the girls are the first to admit it - they have tried for years to sound as good in the studio as they sound when they have a crowd in front of them going crazy, but they feed off the audience’s energy and give it right back, and you can’t get that from imaginary people.
There are three full concerts on their channel that are very important to the band and the fans, it’s the Lunario concert that features their concept album “Queen of the Murder Scene”, the Teatro Metropolitan concert centred on the album “Error”, and the most recent Pepsi Center concert.
If Pau’s your favourite, you should go for the Teatro Metropolitan version for “Narcisista”, where she leaves the drum kit to one of her coaches and goes full front woman, and you must watch “Breathe” and “Black holes” from Pepsi Center, and be prepared to shed more tears than you expected to cry on camera.

They are all great at what they do. Dani is the perfect example of "Rock Star". Great range, great interaction, great player, great look. When I saw them, my first thought of Pau was Animal (Muppet). When she sings, you just feel the emotions pouring out. That is a special gift. The only down side to this group at all is that Ale doesn't like to sing. In my opinion, Ale has the "prettiest" voice of the three. On top of that, she is a legit Protege. She was playing ridiculous Jazz parts at 7 yrs. She was gifted with Perfect Pitch and Perfect Timing. She is the one that keeps everything in sync on stage.

It is NEVER a MISTAKE to watch their omv's. They are high quality and well done. They also put a lot of time, effort, and expense to make them. It is part of their creative expression and out put. They don't have to make them, but they want to. For us to enjoy. They have said in their MTV Push interview making music videos is hard and tiring, so they should NOT be over looked.
I will suggest you watch the omv for a song and then watch the live. That way you get to hear the nuances of the song then it comes alive in concert.
Alejandra is a self-confessed introvert. She is quiet and reserved in public but Daniela and Paulina says she talks a lot in private and at home.
Go song by song from the Pepsi Center starting with "Disciple." The entire performance is on their YT channel.

Their singing teachers said Alejandra is the one with the biggest vocal range. Yet thanks to her shier and introvert personality she prefers to sing backvocals. Yet Alejandra's voice is quite beautiful. She naturally adopts a lower tone, hercprefered range goes from mezzosoprano to alto but she can sing in the soprano register as well. Jer voice is often describrd as jazz-like and sultry but she can go angelic high as well. In some songs she even sings very like her two sisters.

    Next
    - “Enter Sandman” - CDMX Live
    - “Z” - CDMX Live
    - “Choke” - CDMX Live
And, something different from the Villarreal sisters and some friends of theirs!!!
YES, the girls met one of their inspirations; the incredible Japanese 🇯🇵 bands, BAND-MAID, at the September 2022 Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA.
Both bands had been following each other on Social Media for a few years and wanted to, not only meet, but to WORK together on a collaboration!! After meeting and confirming their desire, they eventually started working on a collaboration song! Band-Maid wrote the outlines and first-pass lyrics to a song and exchanged ideas over email for a while. Then the Maids and The Warning got together in Tokyo the first two weeks of this June 2024 to complete the composition, songwriting, and recording of the song together. They then recorded an official music video of it!!
BAND-MAID with The Warning (on both channels I believe)
    - “Show Them” - OMV
They also rehearsed it and surprised performed it together at a joint concert they had in mid-June in Tokyo! AND The Warning released a behind-the-scenes video of their time in Tokyo with the Maids - with lots of scenes of them performing the song together and showing their respect and admiration for each other!
BAND-MAID is a remarkable collection of musicians like the Villarreal sisters and us Maidiacs will tell you more about them after you react and review “SHOW THEM”, if you do. I hope you do, I’ll think you’ll be amazed by the Maids!!
Take care, enjoy the journey, and rock on!! 🙌🏼🎸🎤🥁🎼😃🇲🇽🇯🇵✌🏼☮️

She normally emphasizes it more, but perhaps for this concert she didn't feel it was necessary, as it was a special show attended by almost exclusively long-term fans. But I kept waiting for her to exhort the audience more... and she didn't. And that in and of itself was kind of wild...

The treadmill has been debunked. Paulina is just naturally gifted with excelent coordenation. She has been drumming and singing since 12. She has 10 years of practice. It is second nature to her.

@@Abigirl_Reacts I have seen her doing it on their patreon channel. Now whether it's an actual practice regimen or she was just singing while working out (like many do) I suppose you'd have to ask her about that. Both Pau and Dany are workout warriors, that's a fact. Now I'm not sure why this Carlos character would feel the need to say it's been debunked, personally I feel it's like splitting hair's, it's really not important. All I know is there are things I've been doing much longer than 10yrs that are still not second nature to me, what about you? I reckon some folks just always have something too say, about everything. As far as your reaction video, I've just recently found myself being entertained by these, I suppose it's just fun, like turning a friend or whoever onto something new. One recommendation, you should make the artist you're reacting to bigger and have yourself in a smaller box in the corner. Some reactors do that and IMO that's the way to do it but of course that's entirely up to you, I enjoyed it though nonetheless. You should check out their 'acoustic' version of 'Escapism' from the WDHA radio Parking Lot Parties in New Jersey, it's pretty cool

I agree, not a mistake. Definitely the right way round to do things. Especially if you want to pad ou your Warning content 😀
And, yes, Paulina is a bad-ass. It's really therapeutic to watch her beat all hell out of those drums... and with a massive smile on her face.
Alejandra seems to have become more shy between the last album and the most recent album... on stage at least... she can be pretty funny in interviews.

The live version means more if you watch the vid first. Then you know the song and can enjoy the audience participation without having to understand all the words. That said, they are very impressive live.

The most epic version of this song is their Live at the VMA's version. But you can't go wrong with any Warning song. Pau sings front on a number of songs and she was actually sick at the Pepsi concert

The Pepsi Center concert is an excellent choice, just an amazing step up in production. The Teatro Metro concert from the year prior is also an excellent source, the two setlists have several songs in common for comparison. In particular, there is a song Dany wrote she was 15 that is played at both concerts: a full-band version at Teatro, and a stripped down acoustic solo version at the Pepsi Center (subtitles are a must because she gives a short speech in the middle).
But as others have said, there are no bad choices when it comes to live performances by The Warning. Even fan cams can be great, and may have to be used if you want to hear live versions of many of the songs off the new album Keep Me Fed. Definitely think Dust to Dust/Dull Knives should be your next stop on this journey!

Is that the next song in the concert?

@@Abigirl_Reacts No, actually Evolve is always their show closer, expect in Mexico where they reverse the order of the two-song encore (playing Evolve first in Mexico, followed by Narcisista). Dust to Dust/Dull Knives are the 7th/8th songs on the list at Pepsi Center. Disciple (another excellent choice, and it has a music video) is the first song of the concert. But really, you can do the concert in any order. The only songs from their most recent album that were out at the time of Pepsi Center were "More" and "Hell You Call A Dream", so you would need fan cam videos for most recent songs. If you want another song for music video/live comparison, Choke is a good choice as well.
I forgot to mention the song Dany wrote when she was 15 was When I'm Alone, a fan favourite. It does not have a music video and is only performed for special occasions like their Mexico tours.

Drumeo presented her the Rock Drummer of the Year award in February 2024.

Singing on a treadmill, by the way, is something Pau does to build/maintain stamina for that little trick she does where she drums like a beast and sings at the same time.
