Great review, but a sample audio of the mic actually clipped to you would have been useful. Guessing based on it's shape and design that it's omnidirectional and not a unidirectional mic. So part of the noise reduction is likely a reduction of proximity, and it's a bit hard to get a true sense of it from the distance and angle you were testing from. Nice review though!

Hi, does anyone know if there a wireless bluetooth microphone that DOESN’T require a transmitter/receiver/dongle that attaches to the recording device, and can connect directly to the device’s bluetooth? It would ideally work similarly to how a wireless bluetooth headset would, just without the audio output, only audio input.
The reason I ask, is because either the dongle or the device port where it’s inserted is prone to damage each time I insert/remove it.
I'm curious if you've tested this against the Rode Wireless Go 2 or the DJI wireless mic. I'm assuming those would be better quality since it's more robust but wondering how much better it would be?

You can only connect it to an iPhone as it has the lightning port.

Hi, I have an issue with my micro lavalier. when I connect it to the iphone it is matching in the beginning, however when I open the camera it´s disconnecting and not connecting anymore. How could I solve it?

Yes, you can monitor in real time the sound recorded via the headset included in the box, just plug the headset into the microphone.

There is a ‘lightning to type-c adaptor’ on Amazon but i do not know if it works. This microphone os made for iPhones.

You do not need to install any app. It is plug and play

Unless I'm missing something. The monitor headphone piece has a different connector that doesn't fit into the receiver that goes into the bottom of the phone. 2 different form factors.
The headphone's connectot goes only in the mic, not in the receiver that goes into the phone.
@@UrReviewBuddy Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't even think of that. It seems like it would have made more sense to put it away from the mic to monitor the quality and levels at the receiver.
Well, it makes sense as you can leave the phone on a stand and move around with the mic clipped on your shirt and monitor the sound at the same time 😁
I have similar lavalier wireless mic, but it not work when using camera in video mode. Only work when using audio recorder app. What can do?

If it is not on noise cancelling, then it should pick up some noise but probably not as much as you want.

I experienced the same and this is the reply i got from them:
'After analysis by our engineers, this noise is white noise from the circuit board running during the operation of the microphone, which is a normal phenomenon of the product.
We are contacting the chip manufacturer to further optimize the algorithm and process to weaken and solve the white noise problem, sorry to bring you a bad experience.'

If you turn on the noise cancellation on3rd level, you might get rid of that noise.
