I'm not a deathcore guy either, but this "blackened" deathcore, with the added symphonic elements really hits the spot.
Deathcore go to the right direction! Nowdays, deathcore bands are more death metal than "core", their riffing are more and more metal and complex than core and that is good
Same, I'm not a huge fan of Deathcore in general, but the blackened influence, the choires, the symphonic backgrounds ... Idk man it works so well it's insane

This is honestly the best/funniest reaction I've seen to this song. Understanding the talent in each member while also getting godsmacked by brutality is the best.

your physical reactions get me everytime, dude! especially at the beginning when he started his screams and during the breakdown. i can totally understand that lorna shore is not for everyone. but i appreciate your appreciation for their musical talent. if you want to listen to more of them i'd recommend king ov deception or darkest spawn of the same album. it sure hits brutally! would love your reactions to those!
Thanks for reacting to one of the songs in my YT playlist :) Probably your most expressive reaction to date (talking about 15:27 til the end). Although deathcore isn't your jam, I appreciate your open-mindedness in exploring this genre. Yeah it's not for everyone, but can't deny the talent and the amount of work they put in here. There's always beauty in everything.
They have a new vocalist now and a podcast interview with their drummer few months back stated they're working on instrumentals for Immortal. It's gonna be a hella work of art. The symphonic outro here is beautiful. What's next? Death Portrait of course. Filthy breakdown there.

When you keep listening, it grows on you. The harsh vocals were the hardest thing for me to learn to love but it eventually happened.
Finally, one of my discoveries this year. On my playlist for months now. Another masterpiece, both musically and vocally is Shadow of Intents song Malediction. Out of this world.

Like you said, this genre isn't my goto, but every now and again a song like this shows up on your, and Tank's, channel. This was so f-ing heavy and good, I even appreciated the growls and screams. Because it fit. I cannot help but be impressed by the musicality of this, though that's not hard to do as I am about as musically talented as a doorbell. But I do have a frame of reference in other bands and songs I've heard, and this is easily top 2 😉

You have to do more Lorna Shore. They are crazy talented. Their last album has been on repeat here! Death portrait is a song that is a Good follow up but also the song King Ov Deception 😊
I am really learning to listen differently, dang. I am starting to pick up smaller details I before never heard. Just another 8 years of listening to Chase and I am there.

Elitists often said deathcore is not a 'real' music. They can fk off with their narrow-minded definition of 'real' music. There's talent and tremendous amount of work put in for every music piece produced regardless of its genre.
@@ultimatedodger4247 100% dude! Not their fault they have narrow definition of what 'real' music is. Their tiny brain capacity can't handle the amount of complexity and skills of music outside their norm. You don't have to necessarily like them,but don't discredit their work.

What I like about your channel is the fact that you discuss the instrumentation and music theory, not just your visceral opinion of the 'sound'. I wouldn't have watched this if it just popped up on my feed, but your breakdown made it much more interesting artistically to watch. I'd love to see you respond to E Nomine's Das Tier en Mir (live), Poets of the Fall's Carnival of Rust (official) or Aurora's Murder Song (official). All three are linguistically challenging performers.

They're an Italian Classical Death Metal band (and I said "classical" and not "classic" on purpose, is not classic death, is not symphonic, is something from another planet) and I suggest you to react to the song "Sugar" from their last album, Veleno.

Bruh, Minotaur (Wrath of Poseidon) by them is my favorite song. Also, Defamed (ex Drowned in Sulphur) is another great Italian deathcore band with synth elements.

That was g-dang brutal. Check out Born of Osiris and/or After the Burial. I have a special love for After the Burial because they hail from Minnesota! Both bands are super dope and super brutal.
