Squishy Mochi Agreed. Although I didn’t grow up listening to country music I won’t knock anybody down that’s a fan of it. Everybody likes what they like that’s what I say 😌
I listen to a lot of 80s butt rock, like Quit Riot, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Poison, Scorpions, Metallica, Warrant, Kansas, stuff like that.
I listen to Rock, old rock, power metal, blues, pop, 16-bit, country, dubstep, classical music and few more. Rock, old rock and power metal are my favourite
I'm neurotic type definitely! I always imagine scenarios when I'm sad or happy listening to songs to similar to how my mood is at that moment. I hate listening to upbeat songs when I'm down. I even have playlist according to my moods. Lie in bed, chores, laundry, emo, confused, existential crisis are some of the many examples of playlist I have set according to mood and routine.
I am both in the Agreeableness and Openness categories. When I hear a new song I will listen very thoroughly, and usually I like music that has meaning in it.
a high kangaroo if you didn't you'd basically be 2-dimensional she says that bc apparently one of these traits are supposed to be more dominant than the rest

I like pretty much all music.i listen to country,hip hop,rap,classical,Country,rock,hard rock,oldies,movie soundtracks,r&b,Spanish,kpop , kpop. Some of my favorite artists are ,Demi Lovato,Ed sherren,Selena Gomez,Tim McGraw,faith hill, BLACKPINK,black veil brides,bts, dirty heads, Eminem,Taylor Swift,Becky g, Luis fonsi,Beyoncé,Mozart
I love my jazz, a bit of classical, but also rock. It's probably a mix between the last 3 with a decent margin between openness and neuroticism and a small one between that and Concientiousness.
i like rap (but only eminem) i like hard rock (like Marilyn Manson) i like classic (but mainly Chopin) i like alternative Rock (but only radiohead) i also like chill-electronic but i only listen random electro i find on youtube so i listen to music dependent on my mood and am open-minded :)
I love the Carpenters and any music from that time period; John Denver, Peter, Paul and Mary, Carol King. Mostly, the soft rock of the 1970s. Where does that put me?
Let's see... Two Steps From Hell, Audiomachine, Mozart's Requiem, Sabaton, Babymetal, Hirasawa Susumu, Fallout radio music, Soviet hymns and German marches... My self-diagnosis is openly neurotic with an unhealthy addiction to glory, melancholy, weirdness and world domination :D
I love epicore and violin soundtracks. Other than such exotics, I listen to songs that just have a nice beat or that have a hopeful, deep text. Something I can relate to.
My two favorite genres of music are heavy metal and new age. I like heavy metal because of the intense energy it gives me and I like new age music because it calms me down. Talk about two polarizing extremes, that’s it, man. That’s part of the reason I like to listen to Soulfly a lot, not only because of their constantly heavy stuff, but also because of their relaxing self-titled songs.
the songs i like (i'm 11 btw): 1.The Call - Regina Spektor 2. EVERYTHING MELANIE MARTINEZ 3. The Sadness Runs Through Him - The Hoosiers 4. Two Birds - Regina Spektor 5. EVERYTHING OWL CITY 6. Meet Me In The Woods - Lord Hurons (SERIOUSLY I LUV THIS) 7. Everdream (i saw it on youtube or idk) 8. Lost Boy - Ruth B (mostly unique songs)
I guess I'm mostly the Agreeable trait. I like a good variety of genres, but I almost always listen to music in private, and if I can't really devote at least half of my attention to thinking about the words or getting lost in the beat, then I'll put it on pause or listen to it later. Still, I found out recently that I can do homework effectively while listening to some laid back alternative. In fact, it kept me from wanting to throw my laptop across the room, like I wanted to do before I tried listening while working.
i listen to korean songs a.k.a kpop, but i don't listen to their "pop" genre, i listen to their Hip-hop/rap genre. i also LOVE classical guitar and piano.
I listen to rock and metal with deep meaning, something that really makes you think and something that makes you feel a certain way. But I also like classical music as well, and I don't mind jazz and blues but I don't really like pop or rap
the first one "the type of music u can listen to and do your everyday things" u can do that to any music u like the rest are good just the first one was dumb cause u can do everyday things with any music (depending on what u like"
I like a lot of music. It's all old. Sometimes I listen to country, something like ELO, something like the Carpenters, I very rarely listen to metal, but depending on the day, I'll listen to it.
I mainly listen to folk indie and/or alternative music like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Twenty One Pilots, Daughter, Panic at the Disco, The Neighborhood, Novo Amor, etc. But i do like a little bit of rap but only the artists that have lyrics that really make me think, like NF or Joyner Lucas. But soft hip hop is really good too like Khalid.
When I listen to metal, it makes me emotionally happy and powerful. If you decide to hang around me you're not allow to feel misery or sadness. I am most postive person when listening to that genre of music and if you're not weird, chances are we may not get alone.😎Lol
my playlist consists of: Fall Out Boy Panic! At The Disco My Chemical Romance Twenty One Pilots Halsey Melanie Martinez Green Day Pierce The Veil Sleeping With Sirens Asking Alexandria help me
I think I have more of a diverse taste in music than my peers. I listen to old school and new school hip hop, old school and new school r&b, go-go, pop (mostly 80s and 90s), trap, dancehall, gospel/inspirational, soul (new and old), house/dance music,...🤷🏾♂️
I like pop-punk, rock-punk, rock, some of metal, some screamo, alternative, indie, a little bit of pop (Melanie Martinez, tøp, etc.) and loads of others What am I? lmao
Good thing she cleared it up :) there are many traits that are overlapping a person, so even if someone enjoys upbeat music, it doesn't generally mean he's an extrovert, but it could tell that the person has a trait of an extravert or two
I love grunge music (Soundgarden is my all time favorite band), progressive rock like Pink Floyd and Rush, Heavy metal like Black Sabbath and Vektor; Folk like Bob Dylan or Dave Von Rock and some jazz and game/film soundtracks.
Singer-songwriter, metal, rock, alternative, classical, Celtic, pop, honestly anything other than electronic, rap or country, but even that has exceptions, lol.
I have all of the traits but extraversion :D But mostly neuroticism. I love matching music to my mood. I even give names to specific moods like "Nirvana mood", etc.
I listen to mostly Bring me the horizon, linkin park, and other metal/rock bands and also country. Those are my genres, so i guess i am kinda open and agreeable.
I had to re-watch the video to understand my own comment. I don't know why I didn't understand it then, but I definitly understand it now (I'm in the openness category). I guess a lot can change in 4 months. Anyways when I said " I think i'm apart of the stupider category" I was just joking. Thanks for replying and trying to explain it to me though ;)
Techno, remixes, video game music from bgm to boss music, death metal to gorillaz, country n metal, I really love the boss themes from No Straight Roads, Vs sayu is my fav but dj subatomic supernova is pretty good too but vs yinu is the best because it has the most emotion
My music taste consists of mostly rock (could be metal, punk/emo, old school, alternative, etc.) and I think I definitely fit into the openness category. although I also listen to a little pop, rap, or electro. 😊
I like to listen to mainly K-pop, pop , very little hip-hop , rock , hard rock, vocaloids. I think I'm both exerverison and openess. The only mainstream songs that I actually like is anything P!ATD and a few songs that are popular , but not overplayed.
I write both Jazz and Electronic music. I play live jazz, and produce electronic. I love to listen to jazz, pop, indie bands, rock, and EDM. I like to match the music to my mood sometimes, but sometimes I change music to my desired mood (not current mood) which often means I listen to upbeat music. I wondered if this video would provide any insight to this behavior, but it appears not. I guess I just have all 5 traits?
Openness
Conscientiousness
Extroversion
Agreeableness
Neuroticism

I guess that's why metalheads tend to treat each other like family. Our openness. ha ha!
LOL. Read the comments on any Slayer video.
"Openness"
Yeah, nope. Hence why I dislike being called a metalhead, you're getting shit for liking something different.
Don't be ashamed of your musical preference. There's a whole lot of myths and lies about metalheads. Pop and country fans just wouldn't understand the atmosphere at a concert or the way our music relieves stress, depression, aggression, and the adrenaline rush.
So much more than sitting around, drinking, and inscest.
Openness is when you're open-minded, imaginative and really into arts. Treating others like family is likely agreeableness.
Herr Doviculus Liddell "you're getting shit for liking something different." don't let it bother you, seriously. I am not a metalhead, but I have spent some quality time with a lot of them. I've gone to a few gigs just to see if I like it, but it wasn't quite me.
For me, metalheads (and punkers) are probably the best people I've met. They accepted me, even though I do not listen to metal. Now, I live in a very stereotypical society where metalheads are, not bullied but, sorta discriminated for their music taste. I think they were happy to see someone who didn't judge their music taste and accept them. I was anxious the group wouldn't accept me, but they did.
Sure, there are metalheads and punkers who are really shitty people, but there are shitty people who listen to pop music as well.
Just because some metalheads are drug addicts/drunks/rapists doesn't mean all of them are.
Keep listening to your favorite metal bands and don't give a crap what anyone else thinks. You're awesome, xx.

So I have kindness, neurotic ism and openness. Because those three are the very reasons why I like music.
