It seems like almost everyone is having 3 or 4 sick pups in a litter. The WQ team made an update and changed the sickness mechanic on sick pups. You will now have more sick pups in a litter. Also, the WQ team increased chances of pup death from sickness if a player doesn't spend a lot of time with them. Your sick pups will have higher chance to survive their sickness if their parents is a gray wolf (kk) and a black wolf (Kk) because half of the litter will be Kk, which it means they will have higher disease resistance.
My wolf is a gray wolf and my wolf's mate is a black wolf. But there's a pup called Matthew, who is now sick, and only has 10% of his health left... is there still a chance of him surviving? Edit: Also the mate and my wolf has a 4 star diversity

Not sleeping is new to me, but great advice! In my games whenI have pups I have a strategy. It's risky, but an exploit/trick I've found is what I call "bring your kid to work day". If you need to mark territory, you can carry the pup with you in your jaws. You can mark weak territories, but you can't do much hunting or fighting, but it lets you keep progress while keeping the pup with you. But if you get attacked, you can't fight, you can't growl or howl. It's a risk but it seems to work for me. I've only gotten a few sick pups though, so it might be luck. More testing needed?
Nice! Another thing that’s similar I’ve discovered is if you need food and there is a carcass nearby, carry your pup to the carcass, fill up and head back to your other pups.
One time i believed my pup Stormie was a runt, but the pup named Asher was the runt and got taken by an eagle. (Remember this was my first ever run with pups) but anyway i brought Stormie with me and hunted a rabbit, but she straight up got lost. I found her more to the side of the bush i found the rabbit at, and sprinted the short ass way back to the den. Stormie also was quite bold and almost died a couple of times, and one was my fault bringing her. She’s currently a adult wolf on my actual laptop. (but none of my keys work) it is VERY risky, but can help pups sometimes.
Usually I pick heirs pretty early. I think “Alright, you will be the heirs.” So it really sucked when my largest pup, Onyx, who I chose as an heir, got really sick. I was crossing my fingers that luck would be on my side and I would be spared. I spent a good amount of time with him and only left if I had to. I only slept when I was tired, the rest of my time was spent with Onyx. Eventually, he recovered at either 8% or 9% health. It was a really close call. (It also didn’t help when my other heir, Sandstone, also got sick but I finished the final quest before I could find out her fate.) Edit (1/18/22): Seriously, does sickness KNOW which pups you have favorited? This situation has repeated multiple times now. Second gen litter: 3/4 of the pups I had continue my packs all got sick. In fact, the heir died in one of them, and the backup one also got sick but lived. Third gen: Dearest Onion got sick. I’m such a heavy procrastinator that I don’t have the third generation finished yet but I expect this to also happen there.
Other ideas: if your pups are in rendezvous site regurgitate ONLY spend time with them and take 3 naps or less, There’s a higher chance for them to recover ALSO be spending time with them while sleeping by doing this 3 of my pups recovered! Make sure your territory is over 15
One of my pups got sick at the den, I got her to the rendevous site and slept two times in a row and she recovered. I also didn't spend as much time with her as I could have and she survived.
Sometimes a sick pup can heal much faster than others, but sometimes they take so long to heal that the illness will kill them, their resistance to illness will depend on your mate’s diversity.

@@KimBellyful I wish I could help, actually my pup, Fawne, did end up dying :( But my 2 others made it to 20lbs. Maybe try carrying them with you when you go places near the den? Or try not to make too many long trips, that way you can be with your pups more before you *absolutely need* sleep? Or even, this is what I did, try to give them an elk calf and then just spend *a lot* of time sitting by them. if they need to hide from something, you can sit with them in the grass, and if you need to, then fight the enemy. If they aren’t as low on health as mine, that may work a lot better. Mine was 37. And if you have good diversity, that may help too. Mine was 2, so not that great. I’m wishing you luck :< I really wish I knew how to help more :(
I have 7 pups and 2 of them look exactly the same so I like to think that they are identical twins and therefore best friends because they love to play together and it is so adorable however, one of the twins got sick and is now at 64% health, watching this video gives me some hope that she might live so thank you so much for this video. Hopefully she will be okay and even if she doesn't make it, now I know what to do if another gets sick so thank you so much :) Edit: she survived! She had about 25%-15% health left (I can't remember exactly) and she survived! I also got another sick pup in a different litter and I followed what this video said as well as a comment I saw that said to bring the sick pup with you while you mark teritory and he recovered with about 40% health left! I now have yet another sick pup and I'm using those same strategies and I am confident he will make a quick recovery too!

Thank you so much! I didn‘t know that sleeping is bad, because I looked it up on the wolfquest site and it said that sleeping increases your puppies health so I slept as much as possible and my puppy died sadly :l

Thanks for the tip! One of my pups was sick on the way to the rendezvous site, and it might’ve survived if it hadn’t been kicked to near death by a cow elk. I didn’t realize the newborn was hiding in a grass patch that I planned to hide my pups in :( I ended up taking a lot of bad kicks myself trying to lure the elk away from my pups

In anniversary edition you don't have xp. It depends on the pelt of you or your mate. If you or your mate have a white or light gray pelt you can get a white puppy. However in 2.7, you need 15,000xp to get a white puppy.
@@romerotheliger3904 not entirely. You just need two gray wolves in general. My wolf Robin was a red wolf, and his mate was a brown wolf. A couple litters down, they got a white pup. I was aging Robin up when i did it to get him to the age i have him as in his roleplay info.
@@Bonniethebunny I am a black with a bit of white wolf. And my mate is a grey/white wolf. I got 6 pups and 2 of them was brown with white paws and ears and had blue eyes. The other ones was a very beautifull color brown and a bit of light brown. Unfortunately one of the brown/white puppies died pc of an eagle :(
@@itzbabyyoda7709 i'll give you a couple tips to try preventing pup losses in the future. This strategy works, as i have not lost a single pup using it. First, whenever there is an attack at the den, or rendevous site, send your pups into the den or tall grass, and stay near them, also stay in front of the den entrance. Keep woofing to keep your pups inside, and if one comes out, just woof again, and stay on top of it until it goes back in, same for grass, but still stay by the entrance or grass to deter the attackers. Don't run too far from the pups at any point during an attack, and always return to them, as a predator can, and will take advantage of your absence if there are more than one attacking. If you're by the pups then the predator heavily has to reconsider its' plan of attack, and do not lose sight of them. This works with bears, wolves, cougars, and eagles best. Coyotes too when it is a den, but the grass, not so much with coyotes. If you see coyotes coming toward your rendevous site, chase them off immediately, no need to send the pups into the grass if you see them at a distance, but do so if you can't find them when they launch their attack, do not let the coyotes get close period, they're cocky little devils. And with bears, you have to be aggressive at the rendevous site, do not stop biting them, if they shake you off, get a hold again as soon as you recover. Avoid the front of the bear, go for the sides, or backside until it flees.

Thank you so much for this! 4 of my 7 pups, including my most likely heirs Grizzly and Quartz got severely sick! And my territory was deteriorating. But, I sat with them for what felt like forever, and they all survived! Quartz was at 11% health.
I’ll give y’all a tip, it’s dangerous but can help your pup survive. Carry them along with you on patrols to mark territory, it’ll still count as spending time with them. Make sure you all ways have high Stam Incase you need to run and get to safety. remember though: it’s very dangerous to put them down, they will try and go back to the den and might get lost if you let them go to far. I suggest bringing your mate with you.
Thanks dude :) Sadly, my puppy, fawne, is at 37 health and I’m low on sleep. I’ve been sleeping with the sick pup before I saw this video, so she might not recover. BUT, I’ll keep this in mind for the next litter! (I had a feeling she’d get sick because my other pups are already 20lbs and she’s about 3lbs lighter then them all. Must be the runt-)
My fav puppy got sick to and she was the smallest of all pups. When ever they eat she would be the last one. And unfortunately she got sick but i love her fur so much too. She is brown but she has white ears and paws and she has blue eyes. Very social but is left out by the other pups sometimes. I hope she recovers soon :(

My pup Matthew is at 10%, the wolf I'm playing as (Valkyria) is a gray wolf and her mate is a black wolf (Hayden) and they have 4 diversity-and my wolf has Youthful Prowess, and my gamemode is on easy mode... Edit: Matthew recovered, but now Rick is sick! (I'm at the rendevouz) what am I supposed to do? He's at 31% I think!
The puppy body's are so sad and a little disturbing, I mean people often see pictures of dead elk or something and they know that they are hunted. Except, seeing a small adorable puppy laying there moveless with those glassy eyes gives me the chills. I'm sorry for your loss

Does spending time with them for 30 minutes also count if you're in the den? I know it'll probably make the flea load go up a bunch (especially if you have more than 4 pups, which is likely) but I still want to know. The icon glows but I'm not sure if it actually does anything since I'm not even sure if time passes in there. Edit: Also, one of my wolf pups, Ebony, survived a hit from a Bison and firmly planted a spot for himself in my heart because of that (and from the struggles I'd play with if I chose him as heir, which was extremely likely now), but as I decided on the rules I'd set he got sick. I'm really really hoping if I follow this he'll stay alive, because I love Ebony so much and relate to him too much to let him die.
Your pup's chances of surviving their illness will still increase if you stay with them in the den, but the fleas percentage will skyrocketing in a short time, you will scratch yourself constantly and you will be forced to move out to a new den. Staying in the den with your sick pups is not the best method.

A mate with 3 stars diversity is still good, your pups can still overcome their sickness if you take great care of them. There won't be much difference if your sick pups is outside or inside the den, their chances of surviving their illness will still increase as long as you stay next to them, but don't stay so long in the den because the fleas will worsen.
How do I heal my pup Otter if I'm still at the den. She's 13.3 pounds and her health is going down fast. Breeze (me) is super ingered from a cow moose hunt and I'm a brand new player

Oh I hate when pups get sick, my first round of puppies I got a white pup with two grey parents which is quite rare I believe, named all the kids after food, luckily the white pupper didnt fall ill but the largest, Lobster did become ill. He survived though happily.

Also, your pups will get sick if your wolf Is a black wolf and if you have a mate who is a grey wolf, then your pups are gonna more likely to get sick. Because with two black wolves, your pups will have a higher chance of being really healthy and not getting sick. Yes, you may have smaller litters. But is it really worth getting your pups sick? And even if you have a 1 or 2 star black mate and your wolf Is also a black wolf and if one pup happens to get sick, it has a higher chance of surviving from its sickness. I know this because I was playing as a black wolf named Milkyway, and she had a mate who was a 1 star so she only had 4 pups. There were 2 boys and 2 girls. Storm, Sapphire, Edme and the last one I forgot the name of. And Sapphire got sick, not really surprised since she was a runt, but yeah. But her health was at 10 health, but for some reason when I would sleep it would just stay at 10. Then all of a sudden she got better! Your pups are also more unhealthy if your wolf is a grey wolf and your mate is also a grey wolf.

I want to disprove the myth that to get a white pup you need to have a bright coat on either yourself, or your mate, just from what i've seen in the replies of some comments. This isn't intended to be rude in any way. I've had two cases now where neither me, or my mate had a bright coat. My wolf Robin is a red colored wolf, and his mate was a brown wolf. One of his litters he got a white pup. Second case is on my current litter with my wolf Reginald. He's a brown wolf, and his mate is a black wolf. They also got a white pup. So in general, just one of your wolves has to be a genetically gray wolf to have a chance at getting a white pup. Bright coats increase the chance of one, that makes sense but you really just need one gray wolf.
You just need to be very lucky to obtain a white pup in Slough Creek, and you boost your chance of getting one if you aim for a bigger litter. I believe that all wolves with white, grey, brown, black and golden coat have that slight chance of getting a white pup. My friend had a brown wolf and became mate with another brown wolf, they surprisingly got a white pup. I also heard that a grey wolf and a black wolf got a white puppy. Someone did a post in Discord on how to "almost always get a white pup", they said you have to create a white male wolf and become mate with Wapiti 2F or Junction Butte 3F (both of those female wolves have bright pelt) in order to have that higher chance of getting a white pup. My other friend did that test last week and they never obtained a white puppy. Like I said, players will need that pure luck to get a white pup.

for now none of my pups have gotten sick or died , there were a few close calls like pups being too slow when a attack happens but all 5 of them somehow stay alive
Question: I saw that you stopped partway to mark hex. I did see another guide saying to mark hex first, before spending time with the sick pup(s). Do strong hexes help the pups recover faster, or is it just a matter of keeping the territory from decaying? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth marking everything up to 100% if it's not going to decay, or worth keeping the ~25 hex marked if a pup is sick, or just focusing on keeping a minimum 15.
Strong hexes doesn’t help sick pups to recover from their sickness. Spending a lot of time with your sick pups will increase their chances of bouncing back to good health. I don’t prioritize my hexes when my pups are sick.
Ive been playing wolfquest for forever and for some reason i dont have the ach pup dies to predator or pup died to illness. I tried to let them die to predators before and the pups go into den even without me woofing ;-;
Whenever I have a sick pup I mostly sit next to her/him or I start howling with the sick pup once the pup have howled three times I start to sleep three times and after a while the pup survived with more than 40% of health. Maybe howl with the sick pup
also did you know that if you play on easy mod you don't actually have to worry about sickness well you kind of do basically on easy your pups cannot fall below 10% health due to sickness on challenging or higher your pups can die
my white puppy athens got sick and it's even more stressful since I'm an elder wolf already and don't wanna die before he recovers, and to make matters worse 1-2 puppies die if you die as the mate continues raising them and I only got a litter of 3 this time around
Don't jynx it- I have had around 5 litters before my current one where not one puppy has died (unless my iron wolf died, but then again that has nothing really to do with sickness or predators), but yesterday my little one named Wisp passed away. It was heartbreaking
Same with me, it really depends on mate diversity and spending time with them. Even if you follow this your pups can still die but you’re probably gonna have them recover. Sleeping does murder your pups though so don’t.
I usually have to spend about 2 hours with my pups when they get sick so you might just have to spend more time with them (I know it can be a huge pain though)

if you’re on easy mode pups have a 100% chance to live, they might get to 10% but they’ll heal

I have 7 pups and 2 of them look exactly the same so I like to think that they are identical twins and therefore best friends because they love to play together and it is so adorable however, one of the twins got sick and is now at 64% health, watching this video gives me some hope that she might live so thank you so much for this video. Hopefully she will be okay and even if she doesn't make it, now I know what to do if another gets sick so thank you so much :)
Edit: she survived! She had about 25%-15% health left (I can't remember exactly) and she survived! I also got another sick pup in a different litter and I followed what this video said as well as a comment I saw that said to bring the sick pup with you while you mark teritory and he recovered with about 40% health left! I now have yet another sick pup and I'm using those same strategies and I am confident he will make a quick recovery too!

Thank you so much! I didn‘t know that sleeping is bad, because I looked it up on the wolfquest site and it said that sleeping increases your puppies health so I slept as much as possible and my puppy died sadly :l

I didn’t realize the newborn was hiding in a grass patch that I planned to hide my pups in :( I ended up taking a lot of bad kicks myself trying to lure the elk away from my pups

They are! I have one too. You unlock them at 20,000 exp I believe! :)
In anniversary edition you don't have xp. It depends on the pelt of you or your mate. If you or your mate have a white or light gray pelt you can get a white puppy.
However in 2.7, you need 15,000xp to get a white puppy.
@@romerotheliger3904 not entirely. You just need two gray wolves in general. My wolf Robin was a red wolf, and his mate was a brown wolf. A couple litters down, they got a white pup. I was aging Robin up when i did it to get him to the age i have him as in his roleplay info.
@@Bonniethebunny I am a black with a bit of white wolf. And my mate is a grey/white wolf. I got 6 pups and 2 of them was brown with white paws and ears and had blue eyes. The other ones was a very beautifull color brown and a bit of light brown. Unfortunately one of the brown/white puppies died pc of an eagle :(
@@itzbabyyoda7709 i'll give you a couple tips to try preventing pup losses in the future. This strategy works, as i have not lost a single pup using it. First, whenever there is an attack at the den, or rendevous site, send your pups into the den or tall grass, and stay near them, also stay in front of the den entrance. Keep woofing to keep your pups inside, and if one comes out, just woof again, and stay on top of it until it goes back in, same for grass, but still stay by the entrance or grass to deter the attackers. Don't run too far from the pups at any point during an attack, and always return to them, as a predator can, and will take advantage of your absence if there are more than one attacking. If you're by the pups then the predator heavily has to reconsider its' plan of attack, and do not lose sight of them. This works with bears, wolves, cougars, and eagles best. Coyotes too when it is a den, but the grass, not so much with coyotes. If you see coyotes coming toward your rendevous site, chase them off immediately, no need to send the pups into the grass if you see them at a distance, but do so if you can't find them when they launch their attack, do not let the coyotes get close period, they're cocky little devils. And with bears, you have to be aggressive at the rendevous site, do not stop biting them, if they shake you off, get a hold again as soon as you recover. Avoid the front of the bear, go for the sides, or backside until it flees.
Too bad they don’t grow up with time, it would be really cool to watch them actually grow and leave on their own!

Thank you so much for this! 4 of my 7 pups, including my most likely heirs Grizzly and Quartz got severely sick! And my territory was deteriorating. But, I sat with them for what felt like forever, and they all survived! Quartz was at 11% health.
I’ll give y’all a tip, it’s dangerous but can help your pup survive.
Carry them along with you on patrols to mark territory, it’ll still count as spending time with them. Make sure you all ways have high Stam Incase you need to run and get to safety. remember though: it’s very dangerous to put them down, they will try and go back to the den and might get lost if you let them go to far. I suggest bringing your mate with you.

Sadly, my puppy, fawne, is at 37 health and I’m low on sleep. I’ve been sleeping with the sick pup before I saw this video, so she might not recover. BUT, I’ll keep this in mind for the next litter!

My fav puppy got sick to and she was the smallest of all pups. When ever they eat she would be the last one. And unfortunately she got sick but i love her fur so much too. She is brown but she has white ears and paws and she has blue eyes. Very social but is left out by the other pups sometimes. I hope she recovers soon :(

Wait so does the trick work even if your pup is at 10%? My pup Matthew is at 10%, the wolf I'm playing as (Valkyria) is a gray wolf and her mate is a black wolf (Hayden) and they have 4 diversity-and my wolf has Youthful Prowess, and my gamemode is on easy mode...
Edit: Matthew recovered, but now Rick is sick! (I'm at the rendevouz) what am I supposed to do? He's at 31% I think!

The puppy body's are so sad and a little disturbing, I mean people often see pictures of dead elk or something and they know that they are hunted. Except, seeing a small adorable puppy laying there moveless with those glassy eyes gives me the chills.

Does spending time with them for 30 minutes also count if you're in the den? I know it'll probably make the flea load go up a bunch (especially if you have more than 4 pups, which is likely) but I still want to know. The icon glows but I'm not sure if it actually does anything since I'm not even sure if time passes in there.
Edit: Also, one of my wolf pups, Ebony, survived a hit from a Bison and firmly planted a spot for himself in my heart because of that (and from the struggles I'd play with if I chose him as heir, which was extremely likely now), but as I decided on the rules I'd set he got sick. I'm really really hoping if I follow this he'll stay alive, because I love Ebony so much and relate to him too much to let him die.
Your pup's chances of surviving their illness will still increase if you stay with them in the den, but the fleas percentage will skyrocketing in a short time, you will scratch yourself constantly and you will be forced to move out to a new den. Staying in the den with your sick pups is not the best method.

Question. If my mates diversity is 3/4 am I in trouble or not necessarily? Also. If I were to put my pups in the den would the sickness affect them more?
A mate with 3 stars diversity is still good, your pups can still overcome their sickness if you take great care of them. There won't be much difference if your sick pups is outside or inside the den, their chances of surviving their illness will still increase as long as you stay next to them, but don't stay so long in the den because the fleas will worsen.
How do I heal my pup Otter if I'm still at the den. She's 13.3 pounds and her health is going down fast. Breeze (me) is super ingered from a cow moose hunt and I'm a brand new player

Hmm I never saw my same pup getting sick twice. Each of your pups can be sick for the first time.
Note: When under 50% of wakefulness, it doesn't count anymore as spending time with the pups
I’ve got a sick pup right now, he is a Snow White pup named Eskimo and he is my favourite, he has about 30 health and I am hoping he survives, so I am following this video and tips in the comments.
Oh I hate when pups get sick, my first round of puppies I got a white pup with two grey parents which is quite rare I believe, named all the kids after food, luckily the white pupper didnt fall ill but the largest, Lobster did become ill. He survived though happily.
BRO I HAD AN IRON WOLF RUN ON THE ROAD TO AGE 8 FOR AN ACHIEVEMENT, AND MY PUP LULU WAS SICK. THEN MY PROBABLY RUNT PUP ASHI GOT SICK, AND LULU RECOVERED. I MOVED THE PUPS TO A DEN AND FED THEM, BUT ASHI WAS TOO SICK AND REFUSED TO EAT MOST OF THE FOOD SHOVED IN HER FACE. SHE HAD LITERALLY 1 HEALTH AND I SLEPT, HOPING FOR A RECOVER TO SEE THAT ALL PUPS WERE AT 15 POUNDS, BUT.. ASHI DIED AND THE OTHER 3 PUPS THAT WERE LIKE 17 POUNDS CAME TO THE RENIZIOUS SITE. I CRIED AFTER SEEING MY FAVOURITE PUP HAD DIED, BUT KEPT MOVING AND WENT TO THE SITE NEXT TO THE DEN. NOW I HAVE THE PROBLEM THAT I CANT USE ANY OF MY KEYS ON MY LAPTOP, AND GOT MYSELF STUCK IN THE GAME. IF I HAD AN ATTACK MY 3 PUPS WOULD HAVE DIED. 😭

Also, your pups will get sick if your wolf Is a black wolf and if you have a mate who is a grey wolf, then your pups are gonna more likely to get sick. Because with two black wolves, your pups will have a higher chance of being really healthy and not getting sick. Yes, you may have smaller litters. But is it really worth getting your pups sick? And even if you have a 1 or 2 star black mate and your wolf Is also a black wolf and if one pup happens to get sick, it has a higher chance of surviving from its sickness. I know this because I was playing as a black wolf named Milkyway, and she had a mate who was a 1 star so she only had 4 pups. There were 2 boys and 2 girls. Storm, Sapphire, Edme and the last one I forgot the name of. And Sapphire got sick, not really surprised since she was a runt, but yeah. But her health was at 10 health, but for some reason when I would sleep it would just stay at 10. Then all of a sudden she got better! Your pups are also more unhealthy if your wolf is a grey wolf and your mate is also a grey wolf.

I had 1 star diversity and my sick pup lived with 10%. Must be lucky? Both parents had black coats.
One time I had a favorite he was the only male and I spent a whole day with him no sleeping and four star diversity (this was before I watched this vid).

I want to disprove the myth that to get a white pup you need to have a bright coat on either yourself, or your mate, just from what i've seen in the replies of some comments. This isn't intended to be rude in any way.
I've had two cases now where neither me, or my mate had a bright coat. My wolf Robin is a red colored wolf, and his mate was a brown wolf. One of his litters he got a white pup. Second case is on my current litter with my wolf Reginald. He's a brown wolf, and his mate is a black wolf. They also got a white pup.
So in general, just one of your wolves has to be a genetically gray wolf to have a chance at getting a white pup. Bright coats increase the chance of one, that makes sense but you really just need one gray wolf.
You just need to be very lucky to obtain a white pup in Slough Creek, and you boost your chance of getting one if you aim for a bigger litter. I believe that all wolves with white, grey, brown, black and golden coat have that slight chance of getting a white pup. My friend had a brown wolf and became mate with another brown wolf, they surprisingly got a white pup. I also heard that a grey wolf and a black wolf got a white puppy.
Someone did a post in Discord on how to "almost always get a white pup", they said you have to create a white male wolf and become mate with Wapiti 2F or Junction Butte 3F (both of those female wolves have bright pelt) in order to have that higher chance of getting a white pup. My other friend did that test last week and they never obtained a white puppy. Like I said, players will need that pure luck to get a white pup.

for now none of my pups have gotten sick or died , there were a few close calls like pups being too slow when a attack happens but all 5 of them somehow stay alive

Question: I saw that you stopped partway to mark hex. I did see another guide saying to mark hex first, before spending time with the sick pup(s). Do strong hexes help the pups recover faster, or is it just a matter of keeping the territory from decaying? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth marking everything up to 100% if it's not going to decay, or worth keeping the ~25 hex marked if a pup is sick, or just focusing on keeping a minimum 15.
Strong hexes doesn’t help sick pups to recover from their sickness. Spending a lot of time with your sick pups will increase their chances of bouncing back to good health. I don’t prioritize my hexes when my pups are sick.

Ive been playing wolfquest for forever and for some reason i dont have the ach pup dies to predator or pup died to illness. I tried to let them die to predators before and the pups go into den even without me woofing ;-;

Whenever I have a sick pup I mostly sit next to her/him or I start howling with the sick pup once the pup have howled three times I start to sleep three times and after a while the pup survived with more than 40% of health. Maybe howl with the sick pup

also did you know that if you play on easy mod you don't actually have to worry about sickness well you kind of do basically on easy your pups cannot fall below 10% health due to sickness on challenging or higher your pups can die

my white puppy athens got sick and it's even more stressful since I'm an elder wolf already and don't wanna die before he recovers, and to make matters worse 1-2 puppies die if you die as the mate continues raising them and I only got a litter of 3 this time around

Don't jynx it- I have had around 5 litters before my current one where not one puppy has died (unless my iron wolf died, but then again that has nothing really to do with sickness or predators), but yesterday my little one named Wisp passed away. It was heartbreaking
