These look great and i was about to buy one until i realized they don’t mount on the front and only one comes with purchase. Idk about y’all but i don’t see the point in getting a digital plate to still have the regular plate up front which is required by law in california, as a black male i will not give police a reason to pull me over, even though i see people driving everyday without a front license plate in california.
How long does it take to get it after placing the order? Have you been happy with it so far? Did you do the monthly subscription or the one time pay? They have 100 off right now...but still on the fence.
Their sales various. Mine was $149 per year vs $249 a year Sometimes you’ll see significant discounts on the cost of the plate alone with subscription included. I’ve reached out to them for a an exclusive discount code to share but I haven’t heard back yet.
@@eddiemcars I remember the subscription was the only option they offer. But it seems that they now let you buy it at a one time purchase price ($599 for the battery version). Maybe it's based on my location whether they offer it or not?
Don't need yet another sub agreement siphoning recurring dollars out of my bank account. Not enough value to justify dumping brainless metal plates especially since you need qty 2 to be CA legal which clearly your Tesla is not. Thanks for your perspective.
Certainly, while there may not be a significant advantage in removing metal license plates, the option to personalize the message was a crucial aspect that appealed to me. I understand that this may not resonate with everyone, but I genuinely appreciate your effort in watching the video and leaving a comment.
It’s the only plate you can get that Is black and white text perfect for matching black vehicles unless you wrap one and looks way cleaner. Being able to renew everything easier and customize the Text Is also a huge selling point and very appealing to buyers so Im not sure If that’s all so true.
@@eddiemcars How does it work with the messages you can submit to replace "Dmv.ca.gov"? - do you just type it in and then it takes them some time to review/approve it?
You can now by a Plaid for very little used or 89k new. That's an impressive car
I know… it’s very tempting!

How long does the battery last?
On website says 5 years

It is a cool gadget but does it make sense paying monthly fee? Let see what else software holes are in this digital plate.
You can have white background and dark gray? The dark gray was so brief.
What’s the point of this? Is it for the looks?
Hi how much discount you were able to get?
I'm looking to buy as well and now they have a $125 off

Only the hardwired is backlit

I feel the same way. I don't see the point , paying another sub is not worth it. I will stick with a standard metal plate
@@cellman1829If you cancel the sub It will work as a normal plate. You won’t be able to automatically renew or add custom messages, change themes.
I’LL NEVER BE ABLE TO GET THAT 9:06 BACK. THE PACE WAS KILLING ME… GEEZ
When I watch a video that’s a slower paced than I prefer, I usually fast forward. 🤷🏽♂️
I’ll renew my registration online for free. I think this product is a ‘look at me’, I have money to spend.

@@eddiemcars Mine is custom and it stands out compared to a regular number plate.
