Mike Mike wow man your definitely the best trucker who absolutely knows everything there is to know about trucking thanks so much for taking us along have fun...
WOW!!!! What amazing trucks. They are works of art . The care and pride is top shelf... Imagine having the chance to drive one of these trucks for a living.
Mike. The drop visors were a thing in the 80s too. Wasn't a lot of companies making them though. But it's always been about getting that look of the older Needlenose Petes with the low roof or of the early KWs. The 359s were new when I started driving. The cabs were tight still and guys were putting smaller drop visors to give them a look of the earlier 351. All these new trucks are cool because they look like the old trucks. In a 359 you didn't need a power window on the passenger side. You could reach over and crank it open. The 351s were even narrower. In Jersey... it's low boy or low bed... interchangeable. I preferred low bed. I ran low beds for 12 years until I got completely out in 2004. Still miss the old trucks. Not too excited about 99% of what's out there today. You guys have good taste with your KWs up there... I was a Pete guy. Owned 2 352s and 2 379s over the years from 77 to 93. Then sold out and did some other things before getting back in hauling heavy machinery in company trucks. The diamond tufted KW interiors were always the most luxurious interiors to me though. Good vid brother.
