    I am totally gonna build this trainer. You are right. Why spend $100-200 on a book instead of actually working with my hands. I'm an HVACR technician of nearly 20 years now transitioning into an Industrial Setting and looking to wrap my head around this. I'm "hard-wired", so to speak, to learn by doing!

    Hello Jim, on the wiring diagram You could show the circuit breaker on 120 V AC power supply, power supply wires for PLC to have fully indicative wiring diagram.

    can I use a 220V AC source at the device input?

      Yes. 100-240VAC input.

      but the current must be 1.3mA, right?

      Off the top of my head I don't remember the current draw. Check out the users manual it should (might) have specifications for both active and idle states for a range of input voltages. Here's a link to the TECO website: teco.us.com/
