    Last I used the Eaton 512 the program was free with no restrictions. Although the vender may have provided me with the full version on the down low.

    have you ever done anything with automation direct hardware?

    • @bigbadtech
      @bigbadtech  2 года назад

      Yes, cheap and easy. Free software too! Original plan was to feature it however a bunch of equipment got destroyed in a flood, Insurance settlement slowly progressing.

      @@bigbadtech Aww man I would have loved to see that as I just moved from an AB environment to one almost strictly Automation Direct, and one of my tasks is updating their PLC testing fixture, DL06 mostly. With direct soft 6 programming and Cmore screens.

    In your ladder logic schematic your I2 contact shows normally open. This seems to differ from the wiring schematics above it which shows I2 as normally closed. I'm still very inexperienced so I was hoping you would tell me if I'm wrong and if I am, why?

      Good question ... the instructions scanning the inputs can be instantiated however you see fit (ie: a make/XIC or break/XIO) however the electro-mechanical nature of the field input device remains fixed and unchangeable. Check out the PLC instructions lecture at: ruclips.net/video/ic9crSVVF9Q/видео.html
