And we got recently 2 battlefield games that are just Battlefront copies and not even this good. Especially BF V which is an incomplete game at the launch.

Well a new Battlefield was announced
They dont want to get it going last i heard because they know how awesome it was so they dont wamt to do a BFBC3 and not live up to the previous ones. They want to be sure they know and understand the elements that people loved about the previous ones before doing it and i can respect that.

Whenever EA gives dice some creative freedom, stuff like bfbc 1 and 2, and mirror's edge comes out of it.
So true. But at the same time, EA could've stopped BF1 ever being produced and made them make BC3. I honestly wish BF1 wasnt a thing and we got BC3 or 2143 instead

Ive played 3 and 4. (1943 was actually my entrance to battlefield, but only 1943, 3, and 4) I played BC2 when it went free on xbox. Bands done, best campaign Ive played along with GTAV. All the characters and missions were badass. Gripping storyline. All out great.
You don't play BF for a storyline, you play it for the MP action.
That being said, the franchise was butchered as soon as EA bought DICE.
I wish that they could go back to the way things was in BF1942, but in a new frostbite engine and just leave all the crap at home.

Battlefield or "Trashfield" (EA's fault) is all about Multiplayer and that's the main selling point to its consumers
But adding a good story and well done character development would've been a good edition to the game and therefore a better rating...

Played BF3 campaign, one of the worst campaigns ever, and not representing of the multyplayer. Everything that made Battlefield 3 a Battlefield was taken out of the campaign, the shooting and driving doesn't even feel the same.
Also played BFBC2 campaign, was kinda bad but the characters and colors made it enjoyable for me.
They should stop forcing in campaigns in the main franchise, only make ones for BC (if there will be more). They only do that to compete with CoD, because EA don't get that they can't compete with CoD.

@@Yes_Fantasy_419 I mean, no. BC2 is my second favourite Battlefield (BF3 coming first), but Halo: Reach was by far a more complete game. Its forge/custom games were legendary and have gone down in gaming history, not to mention it was (arguably) the last good Halo game to be released. Both have excellent campaigns, but it's the multiplayer that sets them apart. BC2 (and BC1) had outdated multiplayer mechanics which worked well for the campaign and added to its charm, but contributed to what was only a 'good' multiplayer experience. I think the original commenter was more referring to the cultural impact of both games, we look back at them as being 'the good old days' of their respective franchises, however, the two are in no way comparable.

@@Yes_Fantasy_419 I definitely have a bias, partly for reasons that i don’t want to put on the internet, but more so just because i grew up playing battlefield and a little bit of halo but i’ve recently expanded to more halo, i think they’re a bit equal in my heart, both have their nostalgic moments in the campaign and multiplayer

When hearing BFBC2's music i just always have to think to Indiana Jones and even Star Wars, adventure movies from that era.
I played a round of BFBC2 through Portal, and I got mad goosebumps when this played at the end of the match. I'm glad they included it.

If you kitten to bf3's it still sounds catchy and awesome IMO still has the instruments but with modern mixed in but bf4 is just farts

I quit Gaming almost entirely, with an exception to puzzle games in waiting situations. Not worth it compared to what I'm yearning for. Little good games left anyway as far as I know. I can now concentrate on my life thank God.

Man, this was my teen years haha Back then it was crazy how realistic the graphics were and how good the sounds were, before it games sounded like music you would capture on your old nokia because it had no usb and your pc had no IR. It were glorious times.

Venice Unleashed is New Home of BFBC2
This is what I started my childhood with, and I'm glad I did. I've played through most battlefield games, and I can say firmly, that this games rivals, hell, it's probably better than, that of major COD games like Cold War or Vanguard, even though it's so old compared to them. This is a gem , and us Battlefield gamers can all respect Bad Company 2, and all the memories it gave us. The nostalgia this theme gives me is unparalleled, and it's sad to see the days of Orchestra music fade away to be replaced with computer-generated music.

Bad Company 2 and 1 was awfully short but had SOOOOOO MUCH Potential. It could've been its own standalone series but... They turned their backs to this Gem of a Game.
I remembered having so much fun with the destruction physics.

This is the first battlefield which i played, damn it was an epic experience.
My first time hearing this was that bit on Operation Aurora where you're on the truck tearing through all the Japanese soldiers and shit and when the soundtrack came on my whole entire body was just goosebumps.
We really need a bad company 3 game I've been waiting for years

I got goosebumps when i hear it, its nostalgia for me, childhood memories. True masterpiece. And multiplayer, still alive in 2021, people really love this game. I hope that EA will make BF BC3.

The first time I played the game, i had a totally special experience with the theme. I played it with totally bad headphones and so the trumpet was almost completely filtered out, so i did only hear the background melody. And, i don't know how, it sounds better than the full theme. So i was really sad, when i played the game for the first time with good headphones and recognized how the trumpet is massively overlaying the background melody.

Bad company 3 was supposed to release this year but they shut downed the production because they couldn’t get the right voice actors and didn’t felt like a bad company game so they scrapped all that and started to develop battlefield 2042 for this year and sadly bf2042 flopped
I think BFBC3 it's the end of bad Company because when u finish the last Mission (airplane) , a military general come with a vehicle and says to Marlowe, Terrence Sweetwater, George Gordon Haggard and Redford that russians are invading the European territory. So in my opinion BFBC3 it's the last part for something that will finish the war vs russians

I realllllllly miss the end screens this game "ooookay so we secured the harbor and are standing by for further orders" as a few Abrams roll down the road. So much to love about this game.
There was this multiplayer mode called Rush I believe? (In other BFs aswell.)
The players would always advance but get stuck on the open field. I remember they were all hiding behind this giant turbine windmill.. Bunched up together, trying to keep eachother alive with medpacks. They were always getting sniped from the edge of the map by pesky snipers aswell.
