If your goal with your channel is to help foreigners in Germany to feel more comfortable in the language, it seems a bit dated to offer a lesson that is 95% in English, however good the 5% German content might be. My suggestion is that you rethink this format. Some channels try a 50-50 approach but others, align with my preference, which I consider best practice, which is 100% in the target language. Over time this is the most useful approach, and doubly so if you are introducing some intermediate level material as you are in this video. I say this as a beginner in German, though I realize many monolingual Anglophones would instinctively be aghast without English, but that thinking is short sighted. Besides, that's why RUclips offers a subtitle feature.
Thank you for your feedback! My channel is aimed at total beginners and people relocating to Germany, so I teach German using English help them get comfortable with both the language and culture. I'm not in Germany but I am almost a total beginner. That said, I speak many languages, from different langue families and working totally in the target language from the outset works best. It's perfect for those already in the environment where the target language is all around them. They may not be used to it, especially Brits or Americans with no language learning background, but they'll soon see its power. Either way, viel Glück mit deinem Kanal!
