- The fortepiano in this video was built in Salzburg by Johann Schmid, in the year 1800. Schmid built organs, fortepianos, harpsichords and clavichords. The instrument used here is a fine example of the type known to Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven.
It is now located in Copenhagen, Denmark and is part of the performer's collection.
The video made in the living room of the performer, with two simple cameras and a zoom recorder. No fancy processing. Just an ordinary Danish summer day.
