Eddie Vedder is such a great human being. This song has such a deep meaning that everyon can relate to. We all know that one person who is always on the move. Makes me think about how some people are looking for a specific thing before they can be satisfied.
I think you might have flipped the perspective on the song. Eddie wrote this about himself, sung from the perspective of one of his friends. I’m sure overall Ed’s very satisfied with his life, but like every human, we all have our struggles. This song is him facing his own guilt of being a rockstar and therefore not a very present or reliable friend. That’s what I love about Ed as an artist, he’s never afraid to be vulnerable. He’s never been a phony celebrity trying to present an image of a perfect life or perfect level of satisfaction. He’s just a dude
I download this in mkv with 4kdownloader and i get a 1.2gb file but with all the others on the moline playlist you only get a small file below 60mb. any ideas ? Was hoping to make a bluray but obviously all files need to around a similar file size to this ??
Love PJ and hate to complain about my all-time favorite PJ tune but why did they have to turn a beautiful, somber, pensive, ghostly, spiritual song into a live mediocre mid-tempo rocker? I don't get it
so incredible to have PJ play your literal hometown and let me tell ya Moline ain't big but we know how to party
Please don't lose this video. Videos disappear like a snap of a finger. This video means a lot to me.
