Thanks, the bracket was this one from ebay, plus I ordered a bundle of odds and ends www.ebay.com.au/itm/GoPro-Hero-7-6-5-4-Session-Handlebar-Roll-Cage-Mount-Go-Pro-Jaws-Clamp/121079711809?hash=item1c30e9c841:g:rAcAAMXQNOZRCqTc
Hi Mark, very hard to tell on videos. I have since purchased the 10x5 and very pleased with it's results and punches deeper than the 14x9, the larger coil has it's place out on the flat ground where I now use the 10x5 for around mullock heaps
Nice review Mick, that 3rd target was a great signal. Might just need to run the lead around the other way over the top of the shaft to avoid squashing it when laying it down, otherwise it looks great mate.
In all reality do you see a diffrence between the stock 8" and the 9x14" coil? Good video thank you. I've been thinking about getting that same elliptical coil...
Hi, since this video I have purchase the 10x5 which I believe is more sensitive than both the original and the 14x9. The 10x5 is now a permanent fixture on the SDC. Once the weather cools down I will do a video of the 10x5 and 14x9 against each other.
I didn't see any difference in those first targets, well until you kicked the two little mounds over and then said thatsca better signal. Also the third target after scraping you went straight to a four inch dig so you couldn't really say it was 4-5 inches. Plus you had already scraped the surface. When you went back over it you tilted coil into the hole before it became clear. I think you'll find you will only get a slight advantage with that 14x9 on slightly deeper bigger targets.
I'm guessing it is a small target. That is why the large coil is not very sensitive.
great job mate i use the 2300 when going gold prospecting it’s a great machine! keep up the good work
Great vid,I used the original clip.👌
thanks for the information
No problem!
Every time he straightened that coil my heart was being bent just like that cord.
I hear you, all fixed now
Hi Mick, thanks for the video, I like the homemade swing arm, do you know which GoPro bracket you used? did you order it online?

@@TheBasilmutt that's awesome, thanks for that
5:06 normal coil was better in my opinion

My XP ORX with the elliptical coil will pick that bird shot at 10" inches deep without a problem .....
Yes, they are a nice pin pointer
Also ORX is VLF, of course it would. No good in high mineralised soil though

Hi, I think your right. I'm not to keen on the 14x9 I'm more inclined to get the 11' and give it a go
nothing great about that new coil, hey.
Not wrapped with the 14x9, prefer the 10x5
