i dug one similar worked hard it ended up a brass pot handle .had me fooled all the way. Normally put on a dd on the 4500 in discriminator mode on 10 if it blanks i move on .good to have the new type detector but hang on to a 4500 for these targets. Come back with the 4500 saves hard work . It will blank a foot away from iron.
Yep I feel your pain with that one. Living with the zed can have you digging some big holes. I have learned to enjoy the expectation and excitement while the drug progresses. One day it will be the right colour at the bottom of the hole. Thanks for sharing.
Mate I feel for you. I did the same at Talbot two weeks ago. Turned out to be an axe head. Nearly 1 mt deep. I was stuffed. I had to come back the next day with a crowbar the soil was so hard. Cheers HH
Oh that's cruel, but you never know so gotta dig them. Last year I dug a 800mm deep hole in what I swear was virgin ground only to find some tin sheet, better to know what it is than to walk away wondering.
When your skepticism turn to belief. That’s a killer. I always call it for shit so I don’t get let down. My partner calls everything for gold and is disappointed most of the time, not all though.
Ha Ha, i only spent 1500 bucks for my SD and that thing has had me digging no less than 3 - 1 metre holes for fuggets, and you spent almost 10k, only joking mate; from what i have seen of the 7, it has left me mighty impressed, while most of Minelabs Detectors can go very deep on the large items, it seems this new ZVT tech has improved the ground rejection, and has led to many new finds over very worked ground, hopefully everything will get back to normal then i can buy one, or are we stuck in the" New normal" from here on in?

Ahhhh makes them expensive nuggets, just as well I have found lots of gold with the 7 .👍👍
I’m sad that the last one turned out to be a big blob of rusty iron.
All part of the chase more junk then gold, you must be committed or mad to keep chasing the yellow.
Bugger!
old coke can at 2 feet, Drives you mad. But you gotta dig each signal. Take care out there
