I currently use the electrics to maintain temp., but will eliminate them once I get the deisel heaters hooked up. Hey a little cleaning tip. The fuel filter is installed incorrectly, it is backwards. HZ mean cycles per second, this means that if you have the fuel pump set for 1.6 HZ it is pulsing at the rate of 1.6 pulses per second. What you refer to as an air cleaner is actually a silencer. It would be wise to install something that does act as an air cleaner since a bug going into the air inlet can plug up a small orifice leading to the burner which will render the unit unable to start. It is also important to note that an infrared thermometer is only accurate when directed towards something that emits infrared radiation effectively. Different surfaces will display varying amounts of infrared emissivity. Shiny surfaces are bad, black is good as are most liquids including water. @@TheLowlyTraveller You guessed wrong. The surface area of the cup side is larger in order to handle debris that are filtered out.
