There’s a reflex for sale near me and I just wanted to see if anyone on earth could actually trials ride a reflex and I have seen some things that make me probably not want to get a reflex. Now an XR 200? Possibly, possibly, but that power band is noodle soft.
I have the 125cc version of this bike, a Japanese import known in the UK as the rock-hopper or sometimes called the field-tripper, if anyone has a 250cc or 200cc engine in good running condition with the lighting stator plate fitted and low milage get in touch with me if you want to sell it, I'm after more BHP and a quick swap will do the trick, (seeing the engine running would be deal clincher) PS As for starting this engine >> petrol on, full choke and let it stand for 1 minute then with no throttle (assuming everything is set up correctly IE ignition timing, tappets gaps, good plug etc) it will start with no problem, but DO NOT blip the throttle,

So far so good... But don't rev a 4 stroke like a 2 stroke engine for warming up 🧐
Had a 1982 model TLR 200, didn't like it, as a twin shock trials bike, it didn't hold a candle to my TY 250 or my Montesa 348 Cota. AUS.
