    There are many points to consider before buying bonds. Bonds yeild a resonable returns or not is another question. But retired people need money for their living monthly expenses. So only best ways is FD and getting interest on monthly basis. In bonds need to wait years together. Already retired and how long to wait to get bonds matured and use it for living . And we should not forget that not all bonds are safe. This is not a good idea for elderly people.

      Exactly. Merely telling about bond definition, interest rate possibilities etc is not sufficient. He needs to tell us about the risks involved, which bonds are safe and also how to.buy these bonds as many brokerages have poor knowledge about bonds purchasing in market

    Whatever the attractive topics you make eventually all this are not easier for average class people.. savings and FD account interest has to be raised and should give a decent interest..especially for senior citizens and retired people .. bond mutual fundnu invest pannitu yaaru athelamm followup pannitu.. thiku thikunu utkanthirukarthu.. I feel better but gold coins or fd is safe .. illatinaa perasai perru nashtam for average class people.. rich people can take risk as it’s not a loss for them if anything happens worse.

      உங்க கிட்ட டெப்பாசிட் வாங்கி யாருக்கு கடன் கொடுக்க முடியும்? யாரால் 10% வட்டிக்கு கடன் வாங்கி பிசினஸ் பண்ணி ஒழுங்கா கட்ட முடியும் ? அதனால தான் வட்டி குறைந்துகொண்டே வருது இனியும் குறையும். வங்கிகளிடம் எல்லாரும் கொண்டு போய் டெப்பாசிட் செஞ்சுகிட்டே இருந்தா அவன் எங்க இருந்து வட்டி கொடுக்கறது?

    Do not forget to refer to the CRISIL rating of the company before you choose the any bond or non-convertible debentures (NCDs). Some experts suggest that the rating should be a minimum of AAA, to be on safe side, and go for secured debentures (which yields lower interests than nonsecured debentures.) However, always there are market risks involved.

    Small finance bank fd rate 6.66 now... I don't think any bond scheme returns more than this with same risk as FD. Moreover 5L deposit secured by RBI insurance. Do the Vikadan really care about subscribers? If so then why this misguidance video?

    • @kmbala555
      @kmbala555 3 года назад

      First you should not use small finance bank... Compared to failures of banks, small finance banks failures is very often... Nowadays lot of banks are failing. RBI is providing insurance for 5lakhs fine... But you should know when you will get your money back. Normally it would take 2 to 5 years to get your money back.

    • @kmbala555
      @kmbala555 3 года назад

      Different categories of bonds are available based on risk... If you take high risk, you can get 10 to 12 percent returns as of now. But if the company which you bought gets failed then you will get nothing.

      @@lingarajsollamuthu9784 I'm not saying FD is bad and Bond is good. Both have pros and cons. The real problem is do you need to take risk on fixed instruments. When I accumulate 1crore, I will take risk on 60 or 70% of my equity part. I want other 30 or 40% to be very safe no matter of returns. If you take risk in both sides then you are standing on knife. Also, when you accumulate large corpus like some crores, can you put FD for 30 or 40 lakhs? You need to pay tax every year. You need to pay some money when you break FD. It is a mess. In long term, go for safe mutual funds like Gilt funds, other debt funds only invest in high quality bonds. In case you are not accumulating corpus, just want to park some money you can use FD.

      @@kmbala555 yes.. i believe we can invest 30-40 lakhs in fd or TNPF NBFC instead of bonds.. paying tax is inevitable in either case.. for me.. investing in bonds (even gilt funds has interest or duration risk) via MF is not suitable for retailers... Franklin templeton is a good example... am wondering how people still suggesting bond funds... anyway all the best...
