I love how people always deem autechre's music as too cold and emotionless, when they have such a wide palette of moods, sounds and athmospheres.
The Kalpol introl 1994 live version is literally soulful
Altibzz is one of the most emotive wordless tracks I've ever heard. I feel overwhelmed by the vast entirety of existence in those three minutes

For me is like machine's music.
Repeating sequences of sounds like reapeating moves in car engine. For my friends is like caterwauling unfortunately
@@airwaves1617 All music has repetition, sequences and a melody. Thats the basis of western formal music. Some less and some more of those attributes. Atonal is where things get subjective. As long as it sparks thought and emotion, id say thats a win. To eaches own.

I reccomend Bike, Lowride, Yulquen, Eutow, Cipater, Pule, basically the first 3 albums as they are the most accessible (and popular) albums of Autechre.
Rae, Under BOAC and Acroyear2 from LP5 is where they start to become very weird. They start to put unusual sounds and slowly bury melodies away, I didnt like these tracks at first.
Lentic Catachresis and Pen Expers (Confield) , IV VV IV VV VII and Reniform Puls(Draft 7.30) , The Trees and Ipacial Section(from my favourite album of them, Untilted) are tracks I reccomend if youre looking to continue listening their discography (I bet at least one track will blow your mind). These contain very little melody, even when there is they are overshadowed by the percussions.
There is still Exai, Oversteps, Quaristice and a lot of other albums but I want to keep this comment not very long (one of their latest albums is 8 hours long !)
TLDR: Lowride, Eutow , Vletrmx, Yulquen (most accessible)
Rae, The Trees, Reniform Puls,Maphive6.1, Fold4 Wrap5 (a bit weird but still fun to listen to)
Lentic Catachresis, Parhelic Triangle, IV VV IV VV VII, plyPhon, 1 1 is, Gantz Graf (their most abstract songs and I mean it)
