It's sad that the series is over and we won't get to hear "we are of course going to be setting it to aggressive" for a while, although it was a great journey, thank you noxious for making incredible content for all,r.i.p to machine spotlights, at least for now
Great video, as always Noxious! I can't believe this is the final Machine Spotlight in Forbidden West! It's been a quite a ride, but I hope the DLC and the next game will give us more unique and deadly Machines in the future. If so, I will be looking forward to your spotlights!
I can’t believe it either! It’s been a long road to this point! Thank you so much for joining along and for supporting me! I’ll definitely be doing spotlights on any and all new machines introduced 😁 I’m hoping for DLC news during the Game Awards on Thursday! Also I’ll be doing spotlights on Zero Dawn-exclusive machines once we hear more about this rumored remaster
Thank you! They absolutely did; this series was intended to be styled after a nature-documentary as a sort of love-letter to the designers at Guerilla 🤣 If anything, I appreciate the machines even more after seeing them super-up close. They are so intricate and purpose-built.
We've come a long way from the slaughterspine, the Specter, the tallneck, the burrower, now the red-eye watcher. I can't actually believe this is the last one!
The final one!! I've been here since I think... the dreadwing spotlight so seeing this come to an end is.. crazy, well I hope this series continues when the Burning Shores comes out!
Beautiful as always 😍 I was actually surprised the Fireclaw had issues against these little boys, in Zero Dawn Fireclaw would John Cena them in a second xD
Thank you, my friend! The AI is a little wonky… as soon as the Fireclaw sees you, it ONLY targets YOU. Regardless of how many overridden machines you have around you
We’ve come a long path of spotlights from a Slaughterspine to a Redeye-Watcher🎉.This was an amazing journey to be in!🥳 Amazing effort as always NoxiousAsp!😁😃
Went to the 3rd site (Isle of spires) to face the slaughterspine. It seems its spawn is a little funny as it spawned in the middle of 2 ruins and didn't move to it's coded path. When it fights you it just uses its ranged attacks or stands still doing roar animations because it for some reason can't get out with the terrain or position in, maybe. Idk if you get this bug you can farm Slaughterspine loot (+ apex hearts) by putting in half the effort if your not clumsy.
Thank you! I’ll definitely pick it back up when new machines are introduced. But it’ll be nice to focus working on new videos 😁 I still think we might get DLC news at the Game Awards on Thursday… if you have time you should stop by the live watch party!
Thank you for these incredible spotlights and I can't wait for the next when the Burning Shores DLC will drop! As a Lego creator i am so thankfull to have this much detailed covering material of these machines! 🤩😆😎🤘
Fun fact: It's like the burrower has a code of only destroying a sac unit when necessary, because it actually knows that destroying the unit means that you won't be able to get the sac webbing. I've noticed this when a burrower is battling a tremortusk and it keeps aiming for the face unlike the bellowback and thunderjaw where it simply just pops the unit for more damage. This is exactly why the burrower is the smartest machine in HFW. 👍👍👍 I was really disappointed with the slitherfang's and glinthawks AI because the slitherfang is so slow and doesn't even do enough damage to the ravagers. Frost glinthawks are very unresponsive and don't even attack a single time, the fire glinthawks actually attack but the damage and it's health are not as good. The tremortusk would be good but the salvo cannons are way too effective, making resources impossible to harvest from machines. Bellowbacks are just as good as the burrowers but only if the machine has no sac unit, otherwise you're screwed. Even the slaughterspine has its flaws, it takes too long to make it's first move but the health is actually ridiculous, literally the Apex fireclaw level. It's not the best against flying machines but if it is low enough, it releases a devastating plasma shot. The Red-eye watcher is another example of a machine that was buffed a bit too high. I noticed that the plasma shots of the watchers are so strong that the clamberjaws imediately flee.
I never noticed that! I wonder why they coded them differently. The Glinthawk’s overriden AI is just BROKEN. You’re right about the watchers. I have a couple of machine battles in the upcoming Spotlight that show off how strong it is
I just watched the slitherfang spotlight and I want to question: How is the overriden slitherfang strong? Mine is easily knocked down and doesn't do much damage.
I haven’t tried it recently, but I’ve mostly had good luck with the AI. Not sure about the damage issue though. Even with difficulty changes, the machine health/damage scales
youtube.com/@HorizonThemes We need to support this guy for uploading horizon forbidden west and zero dawn themes that didn't make it to the ost when no else did.
i like how it spins around in battle so damn cute

Bruh I literally live for these videos I love them so much
I’m glad you enjoy them! Thanks for the support!
Great video, as always Noxious!

@@unknown_2552 Hey, Noxious. Could you tell me why you changed your name? Are you alright?
In the third game I want an even bigger version of the fireclaw and frostclaw called a acidclaw
Amazing video! Guerrilla did the great job to making every machine unique and fun to fight.

It’s crazy to think about! May just bring tears to my eyes after the premiere 🥲 lol
Me too. 😢😢😢
Love it, saved the most iconic for last. It’s been an honor watching this series
The most god like machine of them all

This was such an experience
Every road has an end hum? haha
A road that went through a lot of commitmend and effort, gotta say it.
Nicely done Noxious!
Thank you!

What quest is this watcher? From along with the watcher it has a shell walker 2 Clawstriders then at the end is a scorcher! 0:25
Great video! can you bring every single machine spotlight and make a machine spotlight movie sorta' thing?
I didn’t expect the watchers that powerful 😂❤ thats why i like them!
We made it to the end
Thanks for coming along for the journey!
@@unknown_2552 your welcome noxious asp I remember getting into the series around labor day and got into the channel
We made it let’s go
I’m going to miss this series. Also, how come only the redeye watchers showed up in the sequel?

As always, awesome video! So bittersweet it’s the last spotlight. Maybe you’ll continue with the dlc 🤔 🫶🏼
