maybe I'm just stupid but really Wendy? So, your apartment feels like your studio/office & you got a house you're renting to turn into the studio.... Why not make the house that doesn't have any work related sentiment the home & keep the apartment the workspace? since it already has the vibes of a studio & the house is clean & new to you, it would be a better place to relax... but that's just me.

Hey wengie, I also live in Aus and handy hint, water your garden in the late afternoon when the heat starts to die down. If you water during the hottest part of the day it'll end up somehow burning your plants. My mum has a green thumb and always waters around 5pm
Just a tip to help you guys save on the water bills: You don't really need to water most grasses as they are quite sturdy plants that can grow and survive in harsh, dry climates. Instead, use the water on the surrounding trees in your garden!

we have one of those in our kitchen as well lol Also water your plants and grass when the sun is setting or at night because during the day the sun will burn your plants and they tend to dry out faster
