During the pandemic, sitting at home like every one else, I was thinking, we’re all affected by the bloody covid pandemic, with the mental and emotional struggles, along with the financial challenges we’re faced with, and I realised non of us could escape this pandemic… not even Batman! So, I decide to write this short film, and as the restrictions began to lift I figured, well why don’t I just make this thing! My friend and director, Jim Hare, read the script and said “I love it, let’s do this!” So, over the past year with long late nights, and finding ourselves in crazy situations, we pulled it off and made the whole film, and I’m happy to share it with you all.
On a side note, usually the comment sections on RUclips videos are full of negativity, with people expressing grievances often unrelated to what’s even been posted, so I feel compelled to say that it’s been really encouraging to see that so many people have connected with this short film in a positive way, and I want to thank you all for the outpouring of appreciation.

Wish I did own that Batmobile Robin. It was made by this great guy Zac, who kindly let me use it in the film.
Absolutely loved this! Production quality was superb. Batman, hitting his lowest point and having to scrape dogshit from his shoe with his Batarang was a highlight. 🤣

i was NOT expecting this to be Australian!!! 🤠😮 You did a brilliant job, Ozborn!! i would not have expected ANYONE to be able to make any part of Sydney even remotely pass off as Gotham, & yet here we are!!! 😁😄 This was a really great 16mins of my life that i feel was well spent!!!
Thanks for the kind words. I spent a bit of time scouting out locations around town, in fact over the years while walking along the streets within the city of Sydney I'd see a building and think, "That could pass as Gotham." Was fun to piece it all together for this project.

Filmed in Australia. 5:29 shows the water fountain where Matrix 1 was shot with Neo and Morpheus, plus I was there on Vacation 10 years ago

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to maintian a sense of credability, by keeping the characterisations serious, while being met with absurd situations. Much like most of us thoughout the pandemic.

Glad you liked it. If you look closely at Batman's bare hand in the end at the laundromat, you'll notice his knuckles are bruised, and his hand has white and red makeup on it.

“BWaHaHaHa..!!” By 4:15, I was LOL!! Laughing and enjoying 16m of Film that had suspense, action, comedy, a solid Script…reminding me of just how awful and out of character DC Comics’ Batman titles have become in the last 4-years, both titles are in a state of disrepair.
This short film reminded me of why I’ve loved, read, and watched all things Batman for 40 years.

What camera did you use?
