This song got me through some dark times in 2018. I was dealing with severe depression, anxiety and to the point where there was suicidal thoughts. Then one evening I literally hit rock bottom and then said to myself I need to get myself sorted. When ever I had a slip I would listen to this song repeatedly to remind myself what I was fighting for.
This song means so much to me and got me through some dark times and reminded me that I was wanting to fight to sort myself out. Then just last night I watched Sum 41 for the first time ever and they played this song, thinking they wouldn’t ❤️. Thank you Sum 41

I don't know why the comment by Dylan was removed but I feel the same way Deryck does. Because I was so public with my drinking problem and now i'm so public with trying to stay sober there is pressure to stay clean.
Hearing those new songs from old punk rock bands lets me hope they all come back. Wouldn't it be great if Deryck said when he woke up: 'Guys, let's bring punk rock back again and release an album in a year from now on. ' So bands like Good Charlotte, Green Day, Blink 182, Simple Plan etc. would "compete" in this event and a big Punk Rock Event will be held? I think it would be my greatest year ever. And reuniting My Chemical Romance.
Sum 41 and Green Day are both releasing their albums on the 7th of October. I kinda like what these guys have become right here. Love how it sounds and feels.

2016 you are awesome
Good Charlotte and Sum 41 have become two of my three favorite bands and I started to like them as they made a comeback. They started as bands about the time I was born but I wish I could be the age I am now that time because that's when music was good. My third favorite band is the Beastie Boys and they aren't coming back as the Beastie Boys and probably not at all because of MCA's death but I am glad those two bands are making a comeback even though I never listened to them before.

Out of all the pop-punk comebacks this year, have any of them been any good? So far based off of the 2 songs we've heard off of 13 Voices this could possibly be the one good pop-punk comeback this year. Simple Plan's was pure shit, Good Charlottes had it's moments and Blinks was disappointing as fuck. People are shitting all over this track for being softer without knowing the story about Derycks road to recovery after almost dying back in 2014. This i why i feel like this maybe the best and only good comeback this year as is the only one that still has new subject matters discussed without rehashing too much of their older sounds

Blink 182 has been around since 1992 (making the band 25 years old), Green Day formed in 19868 {under a different name but still the same members}(making the band 31 years old) and Sum 41 formed in 1996 (making the band 19 years old)
Blink-182 record was better than this... BUT pff they both fell far back, in case of Sum and Blink i liked all their previous albums (except for Half Hour of Power and Dogs Eating Dogs EP). The Green Day album is the worst of these three though, but they lost it after Nirmod anyway (American Idiot has some GREAT songs (Jesus of Suburbia, Give Me Novocaine, Boulevard) thought and a great concept, but some very lame songs too)
That being said i think this is the worst song on the new SUM 41 album, but it's still better and stronger than songs like Still Breathing, Bang Bang (who everyone likes so much) or even American Idiot and Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day IMO
