Glad you like them! There’s been yet another rule book update earlier this month, so that’s definitely a need. I’ll probably do another series later this year, thanks for the suggestion!
The last detail about pressing the ram above the head is the one that is really going to make a difference, especially as it's the last exercise.I'm off to the gym to do some military presses 😢
Torque has a helpful chart in this article, scroll to “How do the TANK resistance & difficulty levels work?” The chart shows what weight you’re pushing at specific speeds. Hope this helps! www.torquefitness.com/pages/tank-faq
Both are legal in events. It’s up to the gym which one they buy so you could encounter either one. Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of the Xebex tanks used at Fit events & they were at World Champs last year
Great overview. However, let's be honest. The people who do jump lunges aren't doing them "by accident." And this is a critique of DEKA, not your video, but adding a rep line does nothing to combat jump lunges. You can just as easily start the next rep before finishing the previous rep, line or not.
I love your videos. They are so helpful. I have my first Deka Strong in one week and I'm nervous but excited!
Glad they’ve helped your training! That’s so awesome!! Good luck on your Strong, let me know how it goes👏🏼
Love your videos could you do a video on proper ram burpee… adding the new updates 🙏

Haha for real! Good luck at your next race!
What’s the approximate weight you’re push/pulling of the tank (men’s)?

Re: tank push/pull... you mention the Xebex XT3 but show the TANK M4 in the demo, which one is the DEKA standard?

Thanks! Yeah, I see your point. Hopefully it’ll make folks more intentional about foot placement, we’ll see how it works out this competitive season!
