Thanks for the happy memories of the suburb I grew up for some years. It's looking very attractive, great street paving, respectful additions to the old character of the suburb largely and so pleased they've kept the old hanging globe street lighting. Marrickvilee Road shopping seems thriving even if New Canterbury has a number of closed shops. Many thanks. again.

@@jackpallace275 thank you , I appreciate the comment.
I have to agree with what you say about the area , it is one of the suburbs that have done an excellent job keeping the place looking great without having to rely on over development.
Lots of good local stores and eateries with plenty of the original buildings remaining.
I think a lot of new Canterbury road is struggling at the moment no matter what the suburb is.
Great to hear from someone who grew up in the neighbourhood.
Thanks again and thanks for watching 🙂

@motootuasiaki7701 it sure has changed since then - it is one of the neighbourhoods that have done well and you can see it in the shops etc.
This was filmed on a week day morning so a bit quiet , on the weekends it is pretty thriving with eateries busy and people shopping etc.
Glad you enjoyed your stay .
      Thanks 🙂
