    Place still looks like crap.
Did security patrols in and around the CBD and Redfern and Surrey Hills for years, places you walked look pretty much the same, with the exception of the eBikes...what's the story with them, are they stolen and dumped?

      @@Kalliasto haha ..indeed.
The e bikes can be left anywhere you want - but a lot of the inner city kids also hack them so they don’t have to pay - they end up all over the place - the companies also leave them every where , sometimes in really stupid spots making it hard to navigate a footpath if you don’t have full use of every thing.
Your job must have had some pretty interesting moments.
      Cheers 🙂

@@billyeyeball7725 This was a few decades ago when the majority of security guards and mobile car patrolmen all carried S&W 38 calibre revolvers, handcuffs and straight or T-handled batons. We didn't have any problems with our personal safety back in those days. No one messed with us because back then there were consequences for unruly behavior. I drove and walked all over the backstreets of the CBD and surrounding suburbs on the night patrol.
The biggest crime for us was factory break-ins, street thugs didn't all have blades, young children/teens didn't roam the streets at night. When older folk say the old days were better, they are right, social history proves it.

@@Kalliasto i hear you - and thanks for sharing some interesting history.
I have a couple of friends that worked the doors at the x and other city spots back in the 80s and 90s ( both a bit older than myself 🙂) , things have definately changed all over.
      Cheers - stay well.
