Homebush is a suburb in western Sydney that is 14.2 kilometres west from the Sydney CBD.
Homebush is in the local government area of the municipality of Strathfield.
It was part of Strathfield from 1885 until 1977 and the boundary with Strathfield was further adjusted in 1995.

Hello Billy, This is a suburb I've only seen from the inside of a train window going past. It looks pretty good from the inside. Looks like you might have to come back in about 8 to 10 years (if your still doing these videos), to see how they finish up the vacant areas. I think a few more high rises are coming. Still looks like its coming along really well. I do quite like the new architecture they choose for these new apartments. Really Modern.
Cheers see you on the next one.

@@craigbrown9029 hi Craig - yep I think this neighbourhood has a lot of change install of it - mostly on the Parramatta Road side of the rail tracks .
II hope that the amazing old historical buildings on Parramatta road are kept and not just mysteriously knocked down .
They have great history and great future potential if worked in with new plans.
And hopefully I’m still walking somewhere or anywhere at least in ten years 😀
      Cheers again.
      Stay well.

For myself, a great place with enough infrastructure... cafes, gp's, pharmacy, newsagent butchers, green grocer..schools plus rail and bus services. Suuts me just fine!

@@James-wj8eq I have to agree - most of the areas near train stations have pretty much everything you need in a local village and it’s always good to see neighbourhoods with there own independent stores , cafes etc that have disappeared from many areas .
      Thanks for watching

Overall, it doesn't look like a very nice place, at least what we see in this video.
Parts of it looked ok, just. But generally, it seems like an awful place to live.

@@glenemma1 very true that in this video it shows more of the run down areas so it’s not really an over all reflection of the neighbourhood - there are some really nice parts that I will probably film another time but my main reason for filming the more run down spots is that I know that they will not be there long and will soon be developed .
One of the main reasons I started filming in the first place was to capture areas , neighbourhoods, buildings etc that won’t be around for much longer or will change dramatically as Sydney is changing so fast - but now I like to film everywhere -
the good the bad and the ugly.
Looking at this vid I would agree with you - I was intending to show more of the area but it suddenly dawned on me that I had to be somewhere else -
      Thanks for watching

@@billyeyeball7725 It is good that you are showing 'the good, the bad and the ugly' rather than sugarcoating things.
      It was well filmed.
