    Great tour!
I'm a lifelong river boater on the St Croix and Mississippi, just east of Minneapolis.
I'm going to have to put Georgian Bay on my bucket list, but probably as a guest of someone who knows what they're doing, since all I'd be thinking about otherwise is, rocks, rocks, rocks.

Spent many summers at a Y camp there. Best memories ever.

I’m a veteran boater of the east coast of the USA, from Key West to N.J. But most of it on or near the Chesapeake Bay and I have to say that it looks like some fairly treacherous navigating due to the ominous and plentiful rocks lurking just below the surface, nothing produces a bigger pucker factor and especially like you mentioned the buoys that disappear in just 2-4 footers. I don’t know what normal seas are there but 2 footers are a normal day on the Chesapeake and 3-5 ft’s the fun has just begun

It is so well marked and with todays gear no probs. Should have been there 50 years ago hardly the marks and only paper charts, now that was interesting! Best part was you didn't see anyone for days..a lot of skinny dipping.

A fairly common conclusion that boaters express that have done the loop is that Georgian bay is the most difficult part of the entire journey. If you’re nervous just get out the polarized sunglasses and go when it’s sunny, and make sure you watch your charts.
