Hello! I am retired military and new to the professional coaching business. Today I had my first official Discovery Call. I was a bit nervous going in, however, I search RUclips and your video can up. I listened to it in the car as I car errands. I found myself rewinding and listening to it over and over again. The end result was that I felt so confident going into the session I didn't need to watch any other videos. Although I don't know if I got the new customer, i do know that I killed it on my part! Thanks so much for creating this video. It was a huge help!!!

I'm just starting off as a coach (although I am an MSW and worked as a counselor fore a couple decades and STILL found the process of discovery calls nervewracking). That said, based largely on this video and the life coach structure video you also have on here, led to a nice successful flow for these three calls today ( my first discovery calls). While I still need that follow up to get to yes, I am comfortable the calls went well. Thank you so much for the valuable info, and far making this process structured and easy to follow. that was good! I'm new, so it really helped me visualize myself in a discovery call situation. Since you mentioned objections to pricing at the end, I was wondering something. Typically, as a customer I like to talk about prices up front rather than be on a call and hear a lot of great things, only to find out the BIG SURPRISE at the end, which then turns into a negotiation; but, at the same time I see how that could make the person on the other end feel like I'm not going to listen once a price is mentioned... Have you run into people that ask up front if you can share the cost before you proceed with the call? What are your thoughts about this?

I have my prices listed on my website and then in my pre questionnaire form that I sent prior to the discovery call I have the clients go check out my website where they see the packages ahead of time and not get that sticker shock on the call

Sure! You can use square, Paypal, stripe or send an invoice...
